Having released music since 2021, Peached has gradually built up a loyal fanbase. Known for their live performances the band has performed throughout Scotland, performing at legendary venues such as King Tuts and The Garage, captivating fans with their energetic performances.

The disco-pop-infused offering has an infectious production that features bass, drums, and guitars. The vibrant production of ‘Movie Star’ is paired with flavourful vocals that will draw the listener in immediately. The groove was inspired by Nile Rodgers. Peached imagined themselves at a disco in the late 70s, meeting someone, having fun, and falling madly in love.

On the release, Peached comments, “It’s a song that can always turn my mood around. It is inspired by a true story, but I came up with the disco setting and the whole track changed but the feeling remains true.”
