International gospel minister Dr Sonnie Badu has finally explained the cause of the injury on his leg.

Few days ago, videos of him went viral that he has been involved in an incident causing a serious injury on his right leg.

In an exclusive interview with Dr Sonnie Boadu on UTV, he narrates the incident surrounding his injury.

According to him, it happened on Thursday dawn around 5am. He slipped off a little staircase with metal reels between a car park and a swimming pool, while watering his flowers and cleaning the car park in his house.

He was left with a choice to either balance his fall to his head or to his foot. In the process, his foot played a little funny and literally got into the reels. He was immediately rushed to Lester hospital for treatment. A 2 hours surgery was brilliantly performed lon him by the doctors.

He revealed “By the grace of God I have been assured by the doctors to be healing before the 9th.  Everything I would be doing should be things that wouldn’t trigger my admission back to the theater”.

A number of people speculated that he was faking the story just for a public stunt ahead of his mega concert , Rhythms Of Africa which is happening on Saturday December 9,2023.
