Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 am today for An Evening with Hilary Hahn, The Florida Orchestra’s gala benefit concert. The three-time Grammy winner will perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with Music Director Michael Francis and The Florida Orchestra on Saturday, April 10, 2027, at 6 pm at the Mahaffey Theater.

Hahn melds expressive musicality and technical expertise with a diverse repertoire guided by artistic curiosity. She is a prolific recording artist and commissioner of new works, and her 23 feature recordings have received every critical prize in the international press. Hahn’s barrier-breaking attitude toward classical music and down-to-earth connection with audiences have made her a fan favorite. Her social media initiative #100daysofpractice has drawn more than one million posts from performers and students since she launched it in 2017. Her honors include the Avery Fisher Prize and Musical America’s 2023 Artist of the Year.

An Evening with Hilary Hahn is The Florida Orchestra’s signature fundraising event. Proceeds from the one-night-only performance support TFO’s mission to inspire, educate and unite the community through the power of music. Each year, the nonprofit orchestra’s concerts and free education and community programs reach more than 150,000 people across Tampa Bay.

Musician / YouTuber

Jonathan Young is a singer, songwriter & music producer with over 2 million YouTube subscribers, best known for his deep baritone voice, vibrant fusion-metal style, and viral “nerdcore” albums such as Starship Velociraptor, Helldivers Heavy Metal, 40K Heavy Metal and Sea Shanty Metal. Despite getting his start as a cover artist reimagining nostalgic Disney & Anime anthems, Jonathan has become a trailblazer – completely reinventing what it means to be successful in the landscape of online music creators with over 500+ music credits across his 12-year career alongside “industry” and “influencers” alike – bands like Three Days Grace, Bilmuri and Alestorm, creators like Caleb Hyles, Colm McGuinness, Annapantsu, Brandon McInnis and Ninja Brian (of NSP), and brands like Magic: The Gathering, Baldur’s Gate 3, Beyblade, and Dragonball Super.

When he’s not making music, Jonathan keeps accidentally turning his hobbies into jobs. Playing D&D every weekend turned into “Dungeon Playlist”, a side channel where Jonathan and his sister Emma compose all-original boss fight music specifically designed for D&D campaigns or TTRPGs. Grinding games of Magic: The Gathering quickly turned into guest appearances on shows like Game Knights and Commander at Home… and foam swordfighting with Brian Kibler in Los Angeles quickly turned into staffing at local SoCal high-fantasy LARP, Twin Mask. Jonathan is a committed ally to LGBTQ+ & neurodivergent people. If you read this bio, show it to Jonathan at his booth for a free sticker.
