Unsigned Preps: Tampa’s Scholarship Machine
Some programs measure success in trophies. Unsigned Preps measures it in scholarships. The Tampa program’s own bio carries the numbers: 324 student-athletes placed in college, and more than 28 million dollars in scholarships earned.
Unsigned Preps was a Tampa power in the IMG 7v7 era, when its rosters — drawn from schools like Jefferson, Tampa Bay Tech and Pasco — went toe-to-toe with the state’s giants. Big County Preps recorded the program beating mighty Team Tampa at the IMG Southeast Regional, one of the era’s signature results.
The idea behind the name never changed: find the unsigned, overlooked Tampa-area player, put him on a real stage against real competition, and let college coaches see what his hometown already knew.
Hundreds of college placements later, that idea has a track record few Florida programs can match. Unsigned Preps is not just part of Tampa 7v7 history — it is one of the reasons Tampa 7v7 matters.

MoneyTeam Athletics: The Next Wave Is Here
MoneyTeam Athletics introduces itself without a hint of humility: the No. 1 upcoming program in the nation. The Georgia-based outfit — an elite national 7v7 program specializing in training and exposure, now in its third season — has spent 2026 backing the talk up, in front of more than 4,000 followers.
Start with the sweep. In one March weekend, MoneyTeam won both the 14U and the 15U championships at the same event, then added the Peach State Shootout 9U title two weeks later — three age groups, three crowns, one month.
The company it keeps says the rest. On The Sevens’ official teams page, MoneyTeam stands in the 15U division alongside Atlanta heavyweights Hustle Inc and Huncho Elite, and the program also tests itself on the FSG Tournament Series circuit.
And exposure is more than a word in the bio. Through the spring of 2026, the account’s offer posts told the story: MoneyTeam players earning college offers from Austin Peay, Miami (Ohio), Wagner, Bowling Green, Georgia Southern and Troy.
The program calls its newest class “The Next Wave of MoneyTeam.” On this evidence, believe it. Follow the program on Instagram at @moneyteam_athletics.
