Camp Bedford Share “Ships in the Night” New Single + Video, ‘Polaroids on your wall’ EP Out December 11
Brooklyn folk-rock trio Camp Bedford — Roxanne Quilty (vocals/guitar), Kailey Prior (vocals/bass), and Rebekah Farr (drums/production) — have drawn comparisons to legendary folk supergroups like Trio (Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris) as well as modern indie trio boygenius (Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus), while carving out a sound entirely their own. The group is gearing up for their final release of 2026, Polaroids on your wall, a five-track EP due out December 11, 2026 via Thanks in Part.
Today, Camp Bedford share new single “Ships in the Night,” an endearing, clever, and cathartic track ahead of the EP’s release.
“‘Ships in the Night’ was written after running into a former friend for the first time at a bar, and fantasizing about what it would be like to reconnect,” the trio explain. “Maintaining a relationship with someone who seems eternally ‘lost at sea’ can feel impossible, and this song is a final plea to bring them back to land and back to you. ‘Ships’ is upbeat and approachable; we want it to invite you in and make it feel possible to confront the demons that are holding you back.”
Their first self-produced EP, all five tracks on Polaroids on your wall were inspired by (and recorded where) the band spends their lives: in rehearsal spaces, at their home studio, and in cars and hotel rooms on the road. Every song explores actual experiences with the numb lows of early adulthood, the frustration of lost friendship and love gone wrong, and the fierce hope they hold for life after loss.
For this release, the band set out to capture the soaring energy of their live performances as clearly as the experiences that shape them. Camp Bedford’s drummer, Rebekah Farr, led arrangement and engineering from demo to final mix, with mastering provided by NYC’s Tony Pietrafesa and Argentina’s Brian Iele. Released as a series of singles beginning in February, Polaroids on your wall is as much a record of the band’s year as it is a love letter to the desires that connect us all.
“Ships in the Night” by Camp Bedford is out October 30th. Polaroids on your wall EP is out December 11, 2026 via Thanks in Part.

Praise for Camp Bedford:
“Camp Bedford have spent the past several years developing a sound that combines the emotional directness of folk songwriting with the energy and urgency of a rock band.” — Mundane Magazine
“The single [So Easy] captures everything that makes Camp Bedford unique. There are sections built for singing along, the kind that lock into your brain and don’t leave. It’s acoustic, but far from the boring, safe version of acoustic that people picture when they hear the word. There’s raw energy and power behind it, and you can tell the whole thing came from a real place.” — Darkroom Magazine

Hozier Surprises Dublin Crowd With Six-Song Set at 3Arena
Hozier gave Dublin a moment no one on the bill had promised. The Irish singer-songwriter made a surprise appearance on Monday, October 26, at the 3Arena, stepping out during the opening night of Macklemore’s three-city tour run and delivering a six-song set built around some of the biggest songs of his career. In a home-city arena, in front of a sold-out crowd, it was the kind of unannounced walk-on that turns a big night into a talked-about one.
He opened with “Too Sweet,” the runaway hit that introduced a new wave of fans to his folk and soul sound, and he wasted no time settling in. From there, the set moved through “Work Song” and “Swan Upon Leda,” then paused for a traditional turn with “The Prayer of Shiel,” a nod to the Irish folk roots that have always run through his writing. “From Eden” followed, before he brought the short set home.
The closer needed no introduction. “Take Me to Church,” the breakout single that made Hozier a global name, landed as a full-arena singalong, the natural ending for a set that balanced a current hit at the top with the song that started it all at the finish. Six songs, no filler, and a running order that gave the crowd both the new chapter and the first one in a single stretch.
The appearance placed Hozier on a bill that also featured Irish acts Kneecap and Beoga, in a room Just Jared, citing Reuters, put at about 13,000 fans for the sold-out show. Macklemore headlined the night with a set that included “Thrift Shop,” “Same Love,” “Glorious” and “Can’t Hold Us,” but the surprise slots gave the evening its extra charge — none more than seeing an artist of Hozier’s stature walk out unannounced on a Dublin stage.
The run continues in Paris on Thursday, October 29, and London on Friday, October 30, but the opening night now carries a high bar. Headliners can plan a show down to the last light cue, yet it is the unplanned moments audiences carry home with them. For the fans inside the 3Arena on Monday night, that moment was six songs long — and it belonged to Hozier.
