Redferrin Releases New Single “Don’t Slow Down”
Today, Redferrin released his latest single “Don’t Slow Down.” Written by Redferrin and produced by Redferrin and Jake Saghi, the track was written while on the road on tour in 2025. Redferrin wrote the rock-and-roll inspired song on the same day as both his late father’s birthday and Ozzy Osbourne’s final live performance. On the eve before he left for the run of shows, Redferrin’s childhood friend gifted him a guitar that was painted by Redferrin’s late father over 20 years earlier. This was not only the first song Redferrin wrote on this special guitar, but his first time playing it.
Redferrin shares: “After my old man passed away, I was gifted a Gibson Les Paul that he painted nearly 20 years ago. The first time I got to play it was on his birthday, which also happened to be the day that Ozzy Osbourne played his final show. My love for rock music came from my dad introducing me to Ozzy and Black Sabbath so that night on the bus we hit the Jack Daniel’s hard and wrote us an Ozzy style country song.”
The new track arrives as Redferrin is currently on his Been There Done That Tour, which is in support of his debut album, Been There Done That, which was released in June. The album builds on the momentum of standout hits “If I Was California,” “Have You Now,” and the West-Coast inspired collaboration “Palm Trees” (feat. Wiz Khalifa). The tour kicked off in September and has been hitting cities across the US. Fans can catch Redferrin through December 12th before he wraps in Spring, Texas. He also recently announced two music festivals for next year, including the Tortuga Music Festival and XRoads41.
Redferrin is also celebrating the announcement of his viral hit “Jack and Diet Coke” obtaining Platinum Certification from the RIAA. With over 535 million streams, Redferrin continues to mark himself as one of country music’s most exciting voices.

About Redferrin:
Warner Records Nashville’s rising star, Redferrin, has quickly become one of country music’s most electrifying new voices. Much like the iconic Old No. 7 whiskey, crafted in Tennessee just like Redferrin, his music delivers a bold, but welcome, punch. Redferrin’s unique blend of country roots and hip-hop swagger is a fresh take on modern country, and he is set to reach a new career pinnacle with the release of his debut full-length album, Been There Done That, available everywhere now. The 13-track project serves as a reflective exploration of the heart and the highway, balancing polished delivery with grounded, honest storytelling. Leading into the album, Redferrin has released a string of 2026 standouts, including the pensive “If I Was California,” “Have You Now,” and the West Coast-inspired collaboration “Palm Trees” (feat. Wiz Khalifa). This new chapter follows the momentum of his sophomore EP, Some City, Somewhere (released February 2025), and his massive debut EP, Old No. 7 (released February 2024). The latter featured seven songs all co-written and co-produced by the Tennessee native and proved to be a streaming juggernaut, boasting over 535 million on-demand streams. It spawned viral hits such as the RIAA Platinum-certified “Just Like Johnny,” which tallies 330 million streams, and “Jack and Diet Coke,” which has raked in over 160 million streams, reaching RIAA Gold certification and landing a spot on Spotify’s Viral 50 (US) chart. To top it off, fellow Tennessee native Juicy J gave “Jack and Diet Coke” a hip-hop remix that took the hit song in a bold new direction. Redferrin’s meteoric rise is backed by a relentless connection to his fans. In 2024, he SOLD OUT nearly 30 of his 44 headlining shows and played 22 festivals, including the UK’s Country-2-Country, CMA Music Fest, and Boots and Hearts. He has shared the stage with legends like Old Dominion, Billy Currington and Russell Dickerson, and his 2024 overseas tour hit major cities like Glasgow, Manchester, and London. Named a 2024 Amazon Breakthrough Artist to Watch and part of the RIAA Class of 2024, Redferrin has already surpassed 800 million global streams, cementing his status as one of the genre’s fastest-rising stars. In addition to his own hits, Redferrin’s songwriting credits include Florida Georgia Line’s “Lil Bit” featuring Nelly, “New Truck,” and Dean Brody & The Reklaws’ “Can’t Help Myself.” Originally from White House, Tennessee, Redferrin’s journey started on the national Arenacross circuit before his passion for songwriting led him to Nashville. His latest work explores the “definition of insanity” found in repetitive heartbreaks and weary resilience. With Been There Done That leading the way, it’s clear that Redferrin’s story is just beginning, and the best is yet to come.

Jason Scott & The High Heat Explore the Dark Side of Desire in Cinematic “How to Get Away with Murder” Video
What happens when the pursuit of desire becomes more important than seeing the person behind it? Jason Scott & The High Heat explore that question in “How to Get Away with Murder,” a darkly satirical, cinematic music video that transforms a string of murders into a pointed commentary on modern dating culture, the illusion of intimacy and the consequences of mistaking access for connection.
As an investigation unfolds, one police officer finds himself drawn into a case that leads him to a woman hiding in plain sight — someone who understands exactly what her victims want and knows how to use it against them. Each encounter reveals the distance between desire and genuine connection, as the men pursuing her become so consumed by what they want that they fail to recognize the person in front of them. When the investigation ultimately turns back on the officer himself, the story challenges viewers to consider how well anyone can truly know another person when lust is doing all the looking.

Conceived by Jason Scott & The High Heat, “How to Get Away with Murder” pushes beyond the conventions of a traditional music video, using the tension and visual language of a thriller to examine the assumptions and blind spots that can shape modern relationships while also making a statement about domestic violence. Its mystery is as much psychological as it is criminal, confronting a culture where proximity can be mistaken for intimacy — and wanting someone can be confused with knowing them.
“I wrote the song well before the video ideas got tossed around. It’s a classic ‘did she, didn’t she, could she get away with it’ situation,” Scott offers. “Men are the worst, how much can one woman take, before she breaks? Maybe it’s a day dream, maybe there are bodies buried all along I40. Either way these losers might think twice if there were more acute consequences for bad behavior.”
Directed by Rahul Chakraborty, with creative direction by Ryan Magnani, the film brings the band’s original story to life through a performance-driven, narrative approach. Hailey Hart produced the project, with Easton Oliver serving as director of photography and Jordan Kinman leading production design. Dialogue was written by Shea Chakraborty, with costume design by Jessica Mayfield and visual effects, hair and makeup by Kadi Chase.
The cast includes Jeanette Sealy, Ben Hall, Jason Scott, Ryan Magnani, Tremaine Wade, Garrison Brown, Gabriel Mor, Kaylene Snarsky and Ashton Burn.
The song appears on the band’s September 18, 2026, Play Boy, their latest album for Leo33. Produced by Scott and Taylor Johnson, the 14-track collection finds Scott drawing on his spiritual upbringing and crisis of faith while examining love, human nature and the absurdities of American life through his signature blend of sharp-witted storytelling, country grit and rock-and-roll swagger. The record captures Scott fully embracing the band’s irreverent spirit while continuing to explore the experiences and contradictions that shape his songwriting.
