KAYALI Bottles a Birthday With Yum Vanilla Cupcake | 108

Published

Make a wish. KAYALI has added a third scent to its cult-favorite Yum collection with Yum Vanilla Cupcake | 108, a warm gourmand eau de parfum inspired by birthday cake, childhood celebrations and founder Mona Kattan’s very first scent memory: vanilla.

The fragrance opens with lemon sugar, rainbow sprinkles and pink pepper before moving into a heart of white caramel, coconut flakes, sweet milk and buttercream. It dries down to vanilla frosting, white amber and KAYALI’s signature accord. Principal perfumer Clement Gavarry of dsm-firmenich worked on the juice, which took 108 formulation modifications to perfect — the number that gives the scent its name. Kattan says she wanted to bottle the feeling of blowing out birthday candles as a kid, and the formula leans fully into that nostalgia.

The scent follows Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 and Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81, and it arrives in KAYALI’s signature diamond-shaped bottle with its jeweled cap, this time in a soft matte cream hue. For the festive season, a limited-edition 50ml sprinkle bottle dresses the flacon in playful sprinkle detailing.

Yum Vanilla Cupcake | 108 launches globally on Friday, October 30, 2026, at KAYALI.com and at Sephora online and in store, with selected retailers across 30 countries. Pricing runs from $4 for a 1.5ml vial to $29 for the 10ml travel spray, $32 for the 10ml Deluxe Miniature, $105 for 50ml and $150 for 100ml. Kattan also shared her favorite layering pairings, including stacking the new scent over Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 for what she calls a nostalgic dessert duet.

Haus Labs’ Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil Puts Skincare First With a Waterless Liquid Bronzer

Published

Haus Labs is making the case that bronzer should behave like skincare. Lady Gaga’s brand has launched the Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil, a waterless liquid bronzer with a serum-like texture, made with 70 percent skincare ingredients and designed to deliver sheer, believable warmth rather than an obvious stripe of color.

The formula is built to work as hard as it wears. Haus Labs says the veil is waterproof, sweat-proof and humidity-proof, with up to 12 hours of even wear, medium coverage and a natural finish. Inside, hyaluronic filling spheres, phytosqualane, fermented arnica and wakame extract work to hydrate and support the skin barrier while the color is on. The application is deliberately simple: dot the wand where the sun would naturally hit — forehead, cheekbones, the bridge of the nose — then tap and blend out with a brush, building to intensify the bronze.

Shade range is a headline in itself. The Bronzing Veil comes in 11 shades running from Sand and Golden through Sienna, Playa and Rich to Mahogany, Oasis and Mirage, an inclusive spread the brand demonstrates across skin tones. The formula is vegan, and the tube format makes it easy to control exactly how much warmth goes on.

The Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil is priced at $32 and is available at hauslabs.com and Sephora US, where it arrived in early October. For anyone who has ever overdone it with powder bronzer, Haus Labs is pitching a softer way back into the sun — no actual sun required.
