Dei V Serves Up ‘FLAVORZ PACK’ With Urbano’s Biggest Names

Published

on

Dei V just made his loudest statement yet. The Puerto Rican urbano artist released FLAVORZ PACK on Wednesday, October 14, through Rimas Entertainment — 17 tracks on the label that sits at the center of the Puerto Rican urbano industry.

The feature list is the headline. Rauw Alejandro, Ozuna, Myke Towers, Nicky Jam and Wisin all appear across the album — a lineup that pairs Dei V with chart-toppers and genre architects alike, and signals exactly how seriously the scene is taking him.

Rimas is not a casual address. As the label home of Bad Bunny and the engine of modern reggaetón and Latin trap, it is where the genre’s biggest campaigns are built. Releasing a 17-track album through that machine, with that guest list, puts Dei V in a conversation well beyond newcomer status.

The “flavorz” concept gives the project its identity — a pack of sounds, switching between reggaetón and Latin trap, each track a different taste of what he does.

FLAVORZ PACK is out now. If the guest list is any indication, Dei V’s next chapter will be even louder.

Consider the company one more time: Rauw Alejandro and Myke Towers represent urbano’s current commercial peak, Ozuna its global streaming era, and Nicky Jam and Wisin its founding generation. A single album that gets verses from all five camps is not just a feature list — it is a co-sign from every era of the genre at once, delivered to a Puerto Rican artist the industry has clearly decided is next.

Víctor Manuelle Brings the Parranda Home on ‘La parranda es nuestra’

Víctor Manuelle is starting Christmas early — and inviting everybody. The Puerto Rican salsa star released La parranda es nuestra on Friday, October 23, through Sony Music Latin: 12 songs, his fourth Christmas album, expanding last year’s six-track EP La parranda es mía into a full-length celebration.

The guest list reads like a tropical hall of fame. Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tito Nieves, José Alberto “El Canario,” Elvis Crespo, Joseph Fonseca and Alfonso Vélez all appear, turning the album into a cross-generational parranda — the door-to-door Christmas party tradition at the heart of Puerto Rican holiday culture.

The night before release, Manuelle premiered “La gozadera en Navidad” with Elvis Crespo live on stage at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami. It was a fitting stage: that same week, his 2025 holiday EP stood as a Billboard Latin Music Awards finalist for Tropical Album of the Year.

The album also refreshes his own holiday staples in new 2026 versions, including “Quiero parranda,” “Ya se ven las bombillitas” and “Los polvos del Sahara.” His favorite, he says, is “Yo me voy para mi tierra,” the story of an emigrant who never makes it home — and the album is dedicated to the Puerto Rican diaspora celebrating far from the island.

La parranda es nuestra is out now: salsa, aguinaldos and an open door, wherever Puerto Ricans gather.

That the album expands a six-song EP into a 12-song event says something about the demand: last year’s La parranda es mía was strong enough to earn a Billboard Latin Music Awards finalist slot for Tropical Album of the Year, and this year’s edition answers with more songs, more legends and a full season to run.
