Misha Fair Drops New Single ‘South of Seattle’
Some songs capture a feeling, while others capture an entire lifetime. With “South of Seattle,” her fifth single, Americana singer-songwriter Misha Fair delivers a heartfelt reflection on the memories, relationships, and enduring passions that make a musical journey worth pursuing. Beneath its tender, love-song exterior lies a deeply personal story about the stage, the audiences who have shared her journey, and the unmistakable spark that first drew her to performing. It is a song about looking back with gratitude while keeping her eyes firmly fixed on the road ahead.
Rooted in Fair’s early experiences as a performer, “South of Seattle” takes its title from a formative chapter in her musical life. Yet this is far more than an exercise in nostalgia. Fair uses the past as a springboard for a bigger question: will the excitement of stepping onto a stage still feel just as powerful twenty or thirty years from now? It is a question that speaks to the heart of artistic longevity, capturing the hope that passion can survive the passage of time without losing its original intensity. For Fair, music is not simply a profession. It is a continuing relationship with the people, places, and experiences that have helped define her.
Musically, the single draws strength from the emotional openness that has become central to Fair’s artistic identity. Her influences span Americana, country, folk, bluegrass, soul, and rock, creating a rich foundation for storytelling that feels both personal and accessible. Produced in collaboration with Jason Wyatt of WeThePeople Music Productions, with contributions from accomplished Nashville session musicians, the track benefits from a spacious musical backdrop that allows its sentiment to take centre stage. Rather than overwhelming the story, the production gives it room to breathe, keeping the focus on the meaning behind the music.
Fair’s journey has been shaped by decades of performing, songwriting, vocal coaching, and artist development, experiences that have given her a distinctive perspective on the realities of a life in music. She understands that a lasting career requires more than talent alone. It calls for resilience, curiosity, hard work, and a willingness to keep connecting with listeners through every new chapter. Supported by longtime manager Myranda Pugh and Main Scale Production, Fair continues to develop her creative vision while remaining grounded in the values that first inspired her to sing and write. That combination of experience and forward momentum gives “South of Seattle” its quiet conviction.
Ultimately, “South of Seattle” is a celebration of the enduring bond between a musician and her audience. What begins as an intimate reflection gradually opens into something universal, reminding listeners of the people and experiences that give their own lives meaning. Fair’s story is still unfolding, and that is precisely what makes this release so appealing. There is no sense of a journey reaching its conclusion, only the excitement of discovering what comes next. With warmth, sincerity, and a hopeful spirit, Misha Fair delivers a single that honours the road already travelled while celebrating every stage still waiting just around the corner.

Lita Ford Signs With Frontiers Music Srl and Unleashes New Single “Dracula”
Rock icon Lita Ford has opened a new chapter. Ford has officially signed with Italian label Frontiers Music Srl, and marked the occasion Tuesday with the release of her new single “Dracula” and its official music video.
The signing positions one of hard rock’s most enduring guitarists for her next era. Welcoming her to the roster, Frontiers GM Jeff Stevenson called Ford “a true rock icon” — a description few in rock would argue. Ford first rose to fame as a teenager with The Runaways before building a solo career that made her one of the most recognizable guitarists in heavy music.
“Dracula,” released Oct. 27 through Frontiers, is the first preview of a forthcoming album Ford describes as a “magical dark fairytale.” The album’s title and release date have not yet been announced, but the stakes are already clear: it will be her first studio full-length since 2012’s Living Like a Runaway, ending a gap of more than a decade between studio albums.
The single arrives with serious rock pedigree behind the boards. “Dracula” was produced by guitarist Gary Hoey, who also plays on the track alongside drummer Bobby Rock, and it was mixed by Max Norman — a name familiar to any fan of classic heavy rock production.
Ford will support the release on stage over Halloween weekend, with shows Oct. 30 at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas and Oct. 31 at Agua Caliente Resort Casino in Rancho Mirage. A new label, a new single, and a long-awaited album on the way: for Ford fans, the wait is finally over.
