Fishburn Impresses With “The Other Side”
Fishburn is a Billboard-charting pop/electronic/dance artist out of Chicago. Fishburn’s mission is to provide modern-sounding pop and dance music with a Christian theme and a positive message. He only arrived on the scene in 2020 but is already fast approaching half a million streams on Spotify alone as an independent act thanks to his positive and uplifting sound.
The rising artist looks set to keep his momentum going with the release of his new single, “The Other Side”. The track continues Fishburn’s feelgood, mood-boosting sound that fans have come to know and love. Infused with addictive melodies, a huge infectious hook, a groovy dance beat and meaningful lyrics, it will no doubt be another success and continue Fishburn’s exciting rise. Dallas-based rock band Overstreet Knox today released their debut single, “Breathe,” a heartbreaking, guitar-driven track about longing for a person no longer in your life. Stream it on all digital platforms here: found.ee/breathe-ok.
The band shares, “‘Breathe’ speaks to all no matter your background. With emotional choruses and guitar-driven melodies, this song encapsulates the yearning nature of loss. You always want what you can’t have, so just breathe again.” They add, “This was one of the first songs we ever wrote. It details longing for a person no longer in your life. Whether that be romantic or platonic, the consuming desire for this person to just ‘breathe your name again’ is simple but will seemingly fix it all.”
“Breathe” is the first taste of more new music to come for the group, comprised of Griffin Vail (vocals), Jack Lambeth (drums), Jack Poncy (guitar), and Luke Hill (bass).
The band will play a special hometown Halloween show at Sundown at Granada in Dallas on October 30 — their first show with original music out in the world. Their most recent show at the venue sold out, and they now hold the all-time attendance record there. Tickets for their Halloween return are on sale now.
