I heard you scream!- Dr Sonnie Badu’s personal keyboardist reveals against false rumors of His injury
Dr. Sonnie Badu is facing accusations, alleging that his reported injury was fake, and it was a tactic to generate attention for his event, “RHYTHMS OF AFRICA,” held on December 9th at the Grand Arena in Ghana.
On 1st December 2023, the Gospel singer shared news about a domestic incident he was indulged in, apologizing to churches and media for missing a prior engagement due to a major surgery. Despite the accusations, he assured the public that the concert would proceed as planned on December 9, 2023, inviting everyone to witness the glory of God.
The intensity of accusations rose when individuals witnessed Sonnie Badu’s remarkable performance on stage – dancing, jumping, and walking without crutches.
Previously, he had used crutches while preparing for the event. Some believed it was a miracle, while skeptics thought it was a staged injury to promote the event. After the concert, Frederick Arlo Acheampong AKA Achie Keyz, Sonnie Badu’s personal keyboardist and a witness, shared the behind-the-scenes story on Instagram, celebrating Badu’s endurance through pain for the benefit of the people of Ghana.
He wrote ; “Congratulations to you Dr. @sonniebaduuk !!! History was made last Saturday; and allll the glory goes up to the
Lord God most high. I celebrate you for going through that excruciating pain just to be a blessing to the people of Ghana.
You requested I should be in the theatre room with you, l saw you in pain, I heard you scream when the doctors were prepping you. You are strong, bold and passionate about what you do. I’m not surprised God always come through for you. During the concert, you opted to go without the crutches so that you
can glorify God and shame the devil. You did that to prove to the devil that he can’t stop you. Indeed you are a LIVING LEGEND that deserve a to be celebrated. Keep going! Keep winning! Keep impacting!”
Sonnie Badu later acknowledged the pain he endured on stage just to glorify God, expressing regret for disappointing those expecting to see him with crutches.
Despite the controversy, Sonnie Badu’s “RHYTHMS OF AFRICA” event was considered one of the powerful and blessing moments in Ghana.

International Recording Artist Giorgia Fumanti Guests On “Live On Tape With Pete Trabucco”
International recording artist/composer/music producer Giorgia Fumanti made a guest appearance on the hit radio show “Live On Tape With Pete Trabucco” on WWDB-AM Talk 860.
Born in the medieval village of Fivizzano in Tuscany and raised in Aulla and Monterosso, Giorgia Fumanti studied voice at the prestigious Conservatorio di Musica Arrigo Boito in Parma. Her talent caught the ear of the record industry, and so she relocated to Montreal in 2002, where she signed a record deal with ISBA and released her debut album Like a Dream. She then went international in 2007 with From My Heart, issued through Manhattan/EMI.
In the ensuing two decades, she’s made a total of 13 albums, netting 25 million lifetime streams, and racking up worldwide sales of over 1.5 million. She’s performed with the world’s top orchestras in some of the most famous venues, from London’s Royal Albert Hall and Greece’s Athens Arena to New York’s Times Square and China’s Beijing Olympics. She’s shared the stage with musical heavyweights such as Michael Bolton, Jose Carreras, Lang Lang and Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues—not to mention regional sensations like France’s Alain Barriere and Greece’s Mario Frangoulis, as well as Italian superstars Zucchero, Lucio Dalla, Albano and Gino Paoli.
