Nigerian Gospel Artist Uche Agu, also known as Pastor Uchechukwu Agu, appreciates Ghanaian talented lead guitarist Joel Kwame Ofori Effah.

Joel is the official lead guitarist for the Peculiar People, gospel group based in Kumasi, Ghana.

On Thursday, January 11, 2023, in Kumasi, Uche Agu joined the Peculiar People and spent some time rehearsing for the UNITY GOSPEL CONCERT scheduled for Friday, January 12, 2024.

At Shiloh Studios, Uche Agu and the band worked on powerful arrangements, including his songs and some Ghanaian Twi songs. Joel, the lead guitarist, skillfully played muted guitar voices in the arrangements, satisfying Uche Agu. Uche’s expression showed he was pleased with Joel’s performance at the rehearsal.

Nsanku Pekay, the founder of Peculiar People, known for his musical talent, also added sweetness to the arrangements by providing accompaniments on the keyboard. Joel, having collaborated with many great musicians, received love, acceptance, and admiration from Uche Agu for his lead guitar contributions.

Having participated in the event the previous year, Uche Agu promised that this year’s concert would be even more powerful as he joined forces with the Peculiar People to deliver heavenly melodies.
