Before reggaeton filled arenas, Ivy Queen was helping invent it. The Puerto Rican icon opens a short run of United States dates on Wednesday, November 18 at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, and a room of 1,600 people is a rare chance to see a foundational artist up close.

Ivy Queen plays the Ogden Theatre on Wednesday, November 18 at 8:00 PM, in a show open to ages 16 and up. The Denver date is the first stop of a brief United States run that continues to Las Vegas on November 20 and Anaheim on November 21.

Her place in the music is not in dispute. A Puerto Rican singer and rapper, she got her professional start in the mid 1990s as a member of the reggaeton collective The Noise, drawing inspiration from the Cuban salsera Celia Cruz. She went on to become one of the defining voices of the genre as it moved from the underground to the center of Latin music, a stature summed up in her own billing as a reggaeton pioneer.

That history is what makes a theater date like this one matter. The Ogden Theatre, at 935 East Colfax Avenue, holds 1,600 people, and it puts the Denver crowd within a few dozen rows of an artist whose records shaped the sound that today’s Latin stars inherited.

For Denver’s Latin music audience, this is the marquee date of the fall window: the queen of the genre, in an intimate room, at the start of her run through the West.

One year after LUX rewrote what a global pop album could sound like, ROSALÍA is giving the record a keepsake edition, launching a special anniversary vinyl box set ahead of the album’s November 7 anniversary and her performance at the Latin GRAMMYs on November 12.

Today, GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter, and producer ROSALÍA launches a special LUX Vinyl Box, ahead of the one year LUX Album anniversary on November 7.

A monumental achievement in vision and craft, LUX features an extraordinary range of collaborators including Björk, Carminho, the London Symphonic Orchestra, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, and the Escolania de Montserrat i Orfeó Català choir. Executive produced by ROSALÍA, the album sees her writing the lyrics across 14 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Latin, Japanese, Italian, German, Ukrainian, Arabic, French, Mandarin, Hebrew, and one entirely original hybrid language she developed for the project. Each was learned and performed by ROSALÍA herself in pursuit of what she describes as a “truly borderless sound.”

Recorded across Barcelona, Sevilla, Montserrat, Paris, Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, LUX was co-produced by Noah Goldstein and Dylan Wiggins alongside ROSALÍA. The album explores feminine energy, mystique, transformation, and transcendence, tracing the arc between illusion and loss, faith, and selfhood. Both intimate and operatic, LUX invites listeners into a radiant world where sound, language, and culture merge into one.

The album, which received rave reviews, surpassed 2.2 billion streams worldwide. On November 7, 2025, it became the most-streamed album in a single day in Spotify history by a Spanish-speaking female artist.

Rosalía made Billboard history as the first artist ever to debut at #1 on five album charts simultaneously: Top Latin Albums, Top Latin Pop Albums, Classical Albums, Classical Crossover and World Albums. LUX debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 and #4 on the UK Official Albums Chart, marking the highest-charting album by a Spanish female artist in UK chart history. In Spain, the album debuted at #1 and became the most successful album release in streaming history during its first week. LUX also achieved career-high chart debuts in several territories, including #1 in Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium and Austria. It was named the #1 Album of the Year (2025) by Billboard, NPR, Consequence, DAZED, The Guardian, The Independent, CLASH, and Entertainment Weekly.

Rosalía recently won three awards at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, including the prestigious Hall of Fame Award, Latin Pop Artist of the Year and Latin Pop Album of the Year. She tied for the second-most nominations at this year’s Latin GRAMMYs with seven nominations and is set to perform at the ceremony, airing November 12. She also leads the nominations at this year’s LOS40 Music Awards with seven nods. She was also most recently awarded as the Music Innovator of the Year at WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards. Additionally, she won International Songwriter of the Year at the 2026 Ivor Novello Awards and International Artist of the Year at the 2026 BRIT Awards, becoming the first Spanish artist to win the category.

Rosalía just wrapped the global LUX TOUR, her most extensive headlining tour to date, which saw her bring the critically-acclaimed album to the stage, alongside her catalog of chart-topping hits performed throughout the 25-song set.

About ROSALÍA: ROSALÍA is a two-time GRAMMY® and 13-time Latin GRAMMY® Award-winning artist and producer redefining global pop with fearless musical fusion and singular visual language. Her breakthrough El Mal Querer reimagined flamenco for a new era and earned her a GRAMMY plus eight Latin GRAMMYs including Album of the Year, making her the first Spanish-language artist nominated for Best New Artist at the GRAMMYs. In 2022, she released MOTOMAMI, which she wrote, performed, recorded, and produced; it debuted at #1 on Spotify’s Global Album Chart, scored the highest Metacritic rating of the year, and powered her sold-out MOTOMAMI WORLD TOUR. Most recently, ROSALÍA returned in 2025 with LUX, her most ambitious project to date. LUX achieved an unprecedented feat of 5 Billboard #1 chart placements, debuting at #4 on the Billboard 200, and was named as one of the best albums of the year by Rolling Stone, Billboard, The New York Times, Pitchfork, and The New Yorker.
