No Deadlines Studio has launched Gear Up Einstein! into Steam Early Access, a strategic roguelite auto-battler that drafts history’s biggest names into battle.

Players recruit figures from Albert Einstein to Queen Elizabeth, build ridiculous gear combos and hunt for item synergies, then send their squad into auto-battler fights across history, from Egypt to New York.

The game can be played solo or with up to two friends in local or online co-op, with crossplay between Steam and Itch.io.

Gear Up Einstein! is available now on Steam for £11.59 / $14.79 / €13.59, with a 15% launch discount running for the first two weeks, through November 20.

The Early Access launch includes 29 playable characters, over 100 items, 13 gadgets and 35 enemies. No Deadlines Studio is an indie developer based in Montréal, Québec, founded in 2021.

Kuro Games has unveiled Wuthering Waves Version 3.8, “Lilies in a Dying Dream,” launching November 12 with a new Resonator, a new Main Quest chapter and a raft of gameplay optimizations.

The update introduces Lily, a new Resonator, along with her signature weapon, Lullaby, and the new Main Quest Chapter IV Act V, “A Bouquet for Tomorrow,” which sets the stage for Version 4.0.

Version 3.8 also adds new events, including Second Coming of Solaris, the seven-day login event Gifts of Bygone Dreams, Whither the Wind and the Tactical Hologram challenge, plus Hiyuki’s Deluxe Outfit “Lune Noire” and its matching accessory.

On the systems side, the update redesigns the Resonance Conversion page for Rover, adds a Material Locator button for finding where materials come from, and gives the PC launcher a choice between Full Resources and Basic Resources, while console players get new Performance and Quality modes.

Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play cross-platform action RPG from Kuro Games, the Guangzhou-based studio founded in 2014, set in a post-cataclysmic sci-fi world.
