Two Fighters, One Family Legacy: Immanuwel Moshea Aleem and Hubert Hilton

Some fighters chase a legacy. Immanuwel Moshea Aleem and Hubert Hilton are building one — cousins out of Richmond, Virginia, carving two separate careers in professional boxing on the same family foundation: discipline, sacrifice, courage, and the determination to keep moving forward.

Aleem: Championship Level

Immanuwel Moshea Aleem has already established himself as a championship-level light heavyweight. On July 26, 2025, Aleem captured the vacant UBO Intercontinental Light Heavyweight Championship, defeating Demond Nicholson by ninth-round TKO. He also captured the WBC FECARBOX Light Heavyweight Championship, adding another significant championship to his professional resume. Those accomplishments have established Aleem as a fighter to watch as his professional journey continues.

Hilton: His Own Road

Hubert Hilton is pursuing his own path in the sport, representing another part of the family’s connection to boxing. Every fighter’s journey is different, but boxing demands the same qualities from anyone who steps through the ropes: preparation, discipline, toughness, and the willingness to sacrifice for the opportunity to succeed.

The Family in the Frame

The family story even lives on canvas. Richmond artist Joey “Withinarts” Mack — the man who brought the fighters’ story to We Speak Media — has painted portraits of both cousins, two fighters carried by the same family pride.

Having two cousins pursuing boxing creates a unique family story. Aleem and Hilton are building their own identities as fighters while carrying the pride of their family with them. One has already captured championship titles. The other continues developing his own journey in the sport. Two cousins. Two journeys. One family legacy in boxing — and it is still being written.
