In an exclusive interview with gospel blogger  SkBeatz Records, Ghanaian USA based drummer, Emmanuel Adamah, well know as Afro Drums, shared a heartfelt connection with Ghanaian drummer Kofi Emma.

They met in Ivory Coast two years ago and have become really close since then. Afro Drums described Kofi Emma as one of the warmest-hearted guys he’s ever met. It’s so cool that they rarely talk about drums and instead focus on life and how it’s treating them.

Emmanuel Adamah is Sonnie Badu’s official drummer who is based in the United States.

At Dr. Sonnie Badu’s Live In Concert – RHYTHMS OF AFRICA, which happened on December 9, 2023, Afro Drums and Kofi Emma used two different drum sets. They initially planned to use just one, but they realized that their height differences and preferred drum settings might affect the flow of the event. So, to make sure everything went smoothly, they decided to use two drum sets, playing individually and simultaneously.

SkBeatz Records captured this unique performance, making it a truly remarkable event.

So, during Dr. Sonnie Badu’s Live In Concert – RHYTHMS OF AFRICA, the energy in the venue was electrifying! Afro Drums and Kofi Emma took the stage with their drums, ready to create an unforgettable experience for the audience.

As the rhythm started to flow, the crowd couldn’t help but move to the rhythm. Afro Drums and Kofi Emma showcased their incredible skills, seamlessly blending their styles and techniques. The sound of their drums reverberated through the air, filling the space with pure musical magic.

Throughout the concert, there were moments where Afro Drums and Kofi Emma played together, their rhythms intertwining in perfect harmony. It was like witnessing a musical conversation between two passionate souls. The crowd was captivated by their synchronized beats, cheering and applauding with every powerful strike.

But it wasn’t just about the performance. Behind the scenes, Afro Drums and Kofi Emma shared laughter, and a deep appreciation for their craft. They supported and encouraged each other, creating a bond that went beyond their shared love for drums.

SkBeatz Records made sure to capture every moment of this extraordinary performance. The footage captured the essence of their connection and the sheer joy they brought to the stage. It was a night that would be remembered for years to come.
