Mercy Chinwo Celebrates God’s Goodness on “My God, You Are Good”
Mercy Chinwo is back in praise mode. The Nigerian gospel minister released “My God, You Are Good” on September 25, 2026, through GNT Nation, under exclusive license to MAD Solutions — an energetic praise record built entirely around thanksgiving and celebration, with the audio and visuals arriving together.
Where some of her best-known records lean into slow, intimate worship, “My God” moves. The song rides lively African percussion, strong bass lines and dynamic horn arrangements, recreating the atmosphere of a joyful church praise session. At the centre of it is a simple declaration — beside You there is no other God — delivered in Chinwo’s commanding voice as a celebration of God’s goodness, faithfulness and power.
The release followed her recent collaboration with Nathaniel Bassey on “Promise Keeper,” and it returns Chinwo to the vibrant, dance-ready side of her artistry. She announced the song to her followers as a sound from a grateful heart to a good God, and the early response matched the energy: the record passed 658,000 plays on Audiomack in its first weeks, as listeners took up the song for praise gatherings and personal moments of thanksgiving alike.
That sing-along quality is what makes the record work. “My God, You Are Good” does not complicate its message — it repeats it, lifts it, and invites everybody in the room to say it together. It is gratitude set to a groove.
The single adds another energetic entry to Mercy Chinwo’s gospel catalogue and continues her run of faith-driven releases through 2026. “My God, You Are Good” is streaming now on all digital platforms, with the official video on her YouTube channel.

Sherwin Gardner Declares a “Big Day” as New Single Travels the World
Trinidad-born gospel star Sherwin Gardner is having another global moment. His joyous new anthem “Big Day,” released on August 7, 2026, through Flow Masters Records and Tyscot Records, is the follow-up to his 2024 mega-streamer “Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me),” which clocked two billion TikTok views and more than 75 million digital streams. Within weeks of release, “Big Day” had already pulled eight million TikTok views and passed one million digital streams — and its biggest audience is a surprise: Brazil, where São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte and Porto Alegre lead his streaming cities, ahead of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and South Africa.
The song, however, was born in a hard season. “Last year was a beautiful yet testing year,” Gardner says. “There were nights when sleep felt impossible — the kind of nights where your mind won’t rest and the weight of problems sits heavy on your chest. I found myself waking up one of those mornings around 5 a.m., exhausted in every way. But instead of letting the day take me under, I made a decision. I looked up and said, ‘Today is going to be a big day.’ In that moment, a melody came to me — simple, real, and full of faith: ‘I got something to say, today is gonna be a big day. Woke up this morning and prayed, today is gonna be a big day.'”
The feel-good music video was shot on location in Panama and Costa Rica, markets where Gardner has travelled and ministered since 2007 and where his older music still receives strong support. “For the ‘Big Day’ video, I wanted to do something different and step outside of the Caribbean while still choosing locations that felt authentic to my journey, my music, and the people who have supported me for so many years,” he adds.
The Trinidad native, now resident in the Bahamas, has carried Caribbean gospel to every corner of the world — and with “Big Day,” a private 5 a.m. declaration has become a public anthem of faith. “Big Day” is streaming now on digital platforms.
