Petra Kaye Declares “Breakthrough” on New Single

Published

on

Jamaican gospel singer Petra Kaye has stepped into a new season with “Breakthrough,” her single released worldwide on September 21, 2026. Crafted as a prophetic declaration, the song is an anthem for believers pressing through spiritual battles, personal challenges and seasons of waiting — a declaration of victory, release and divine intervention.

Petra Kaye’s signature vocal strength carries the track, which blends contemporary gospel warmth with her unmistakable Jamaican influence. The result is a sound built for both the worship service and the personal playlist: hopeful, resilient and rooted in the expectation that God is about to move. The single arrived with an official music video on YouTube, amplifying its message with imagery of worship and perseverance.

The release, handled through Danx440 Entertainment and Petra Kaye Ministries, follows a strong catalogue of worship medleys and live performances. Earlier this year she also appeared on the Newness Riddim EP with “All My Praise,” part of the early-2026 Jamaican gospel riddim project produced by Danx440 Entertainment.

Born Petra-Kay Linton, the singer has built her reputation live. Her catalogue is anchored by extended worship medleys — “The Prayer Medley,” “Christ Alone Medley,” “Sovereign God Medley” and “Do It Again Medley” among them — recordings that capture the congregational energy of her stage ministry. Weeks before “Breakthrough” arrived, she was on stage at Come Alive 2026 performing “All My Praise,” the single she contributed to the Newness Riddim project.

With “Breakthrough,” Petra Kaye continues to solidify her place among Jamaica’s influential gospel voices, opening a chapter marked by bold declaration and spiritual authority. “Breakthrough” is streaming now on all major platforms.

Bisola Turns a Season of Surgery and Recovery Into Debut Christian Album “Holy Fire”

UK singer and songwriter Bisola released “Holy Fire” on October 6, her first full-length Christian album and a project quite literally written from a hospital road back to health. The 12-track album spans worship and contemporary Christian music, R&B, gospel and acoustic sounds, and almost half of its songs were written while Bisola was recovering from multiple surgeries following a health scare in 2025.

All of the album’s songs were written and performed by Bisola, with production from Jeriah Nadesan. Alongside the title track “Holy Fire,” the tracklist includes “In His Hands,” “Living Water,” “Glorious King” and “All in With You,” songs whose titles trace the album’s arc from vulnerability to surrender and praise. What could have been a season of silence instead became the most productive writing period of her life.

“Holy Fire” also carries a piece of Bisola’s history with it. The bonus track “We Ain’t Gonna Lose” previously reached the Top 5 of the aStepFWD UK Christian chart in 2020, an early sign of the songwriting strength now given a full album’s room to breathe. AStepFWD marked the album’s arrival on October 7, introducing it to the UK Christian and gospel audience Bisola has been building toward this moment.

Debut albums usually introduce an artist. “Holy Fire” does something rarer: it testifies. Bisola has turned the hardest year of her life into twelve songs of worship, and the fire in the title is the sound of faith that has been through the furnace and come out singing.
