Prophet Margin Launches Today on PC via Steam

What if a strategy game challenged your brain and required no battles? What if building the perfect empire meant neither conquering your neighbours nor surviving the next disaster, but simply figuring out where to best place the next settlement?

Prophet Margin, the thoughtful strategy city builder from Berlin-based indie studio Stellar Cartography Interactive, launches today, inviting players to build prosperous settlements, weave intricate trade networks, and appease a capricious pantheon of gods — all without a single battle.

Inspired by Euro board games, in Prophet Margin every placement matters. Towns consume and produce resources, creating opportunities for multi-stop caravans that can carry goods through several settlements and compound their value along the way. What begins as a simple connection can grow into an intricate network where every new road, settlement and resource changes the puzzle. And there is no need to rush: Prophet Margin is designed as a thinky sanctuary — players can pause freely to study the map, rethink their next move and plan the perfect network. A limited undo system encourages experimentation without turning every mistake into a disaster.

But prosperity comes with divine expectations. The game’s pagan gods demand precise tributes delivered to their temples. Satisfy them, and they reward players with powerful divine boons that bend the rules and reshape the logistics puzzle.

“We wanted to make a strategy game without wars, an intellectual challenge that gives players the satisfaction of solving genuinely complex problems without making them feel like work,” says Ido Yehieli, Founder and Game Director at Stellar Cartography Interactive. “There are no armies to command and no enemies waiting to attack. The challenge comes from the systems themselves and from that irresistible feeling that there must be a better way to connect everything, achieve a higher score and master the map.”

Key features: build interconnected settlements and create thriving networks of production and trade; weave increasingly complex trade routes as caravans transport resources through multiple settlements; appease a capricious pantheon by delivering precise tributes to pagan temples; bend the rules with divine boons; think, pause and experiment with a freely pausable game; enjoy peaceful strategy without combat; replay procedurally generated maps in endless mode. The game offers 40+ hours of gameplay, 7 worlds, 10 commandments (mission types), 5 difficulty levels, 6 Holy Relics and 78 Steam Achievements. Price: €16.99. Platform: PC / Steam.

Mixed Reality RTS The Great Flood Launches for Meta Quest in November

SoulFire Studio and LingVision Games have announced that The Great Flood, a fantastical mixed-reality real-time strategy game for Meta Quest, is set to arrive on 9th November 2026.

Inspired by Chinese mythology, The Great Flood is filled with mythical characters to command, tasks to complete, challenges to face, and rewards to unlock. Players take command of their army and battle one another in 1v1 and 2v2 battles, ranking up to unlock new characters and upgrade their abilities.

Squads are comprised of ten troops, two powerful heroes and eight diverse soldiers and spells. These can range from flying beasts and fast ground-attack monsters to AOE spells cast directly by the player. Players can swap and change the squad between battles, letting them adjust their strategy before the next bout. With over 50 mythical characters to choose from, the options are almost endless.

Mixed reality battles take place on a tabletop-style battlefield, where players can place individual troops to attack their opponent or defend their base. Rounds are fast and frantic, delivering intense battles that can change at a moment’s notice. Outside the battlefield, players can head to the Barracks to upgrade their squad, head to the Training area to practice, visit the Sect to join or start a clan, or head to the shop to use their well-fought-for coins to access new items.

The Great Flood will also have a free and paid seasonal Battle Pass, offering players the chance to unlock unique rewards as they play and level up, and a daily reward to collect each day.

The studios are also running a Kickstarter campaign offering exclusive rewards to backers. Seeking to raise $10,000 USD, the campaign has already achieved 100% of its funding goal with a week remaining.

The Great Flood will be available as a free-to-play title for Meta Quest from 9th November 2026.
