Lara Croft’s return now has a date. Amazon Game Studios, Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog have announced that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will launch on February 12, 2027, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2, and pre-orders are officially open. A new trailer debuted during the State of Play broadcast, giving fans a first look at new gameplay from the reimagining of the original 1996 Tomb Raider.

Legacy of Atlantis sends Lara on a globe-trotting quest to discover the lost secrets of Atlantis, with the classic story expanded by deeper connections that bridge her defining adventure to her future. The journey runs from the jungles of Peru to the crumbling ruins of Greece, the deserts of Egypt and a mysterious island shrouded in myth. Familiar puzzles return with new mechanics, players use Lara’s strength, agility and grappling hook to climb, leap and swing across deadly terrain, and the legendary battle against the T-Rex is back as a full-scale encounter. Lara fights with her signature dual pistols and other unlockable weapons against savage wildlife, mercenaries and mythological creatures.

Pre-orders on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam come in three editions. The Standard Edition, priced at £49.99, includes the game and a Survivor Outfit pre-order bonus. The Deluxe Edition, at £59.99, adds 48-hour early launch access, a Parisian Fugitive Outfit and a post-launch DLC story pack. The Collector’s Edition, at £159.99, adds a premium steel case, a Lara Croft vs. The T-Rex statue, a mini art book, a Croft signet pin and an Atlantean talisman keychain.

The announcement also confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 version arrives on launch day, February 12, 2027, with the same cinematic scale and gameplay optimized for the hardware at home and on the go. At launch the game will carry full audio and text support in English, French, German, Spanish (LATAM), Portuguese (Brazil), Polish and Simplified Chinese, with text-only support in Italian, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese.
