Suspect in Killing of Rapper Trouble Arrested by Police

The suspect in the shooting and killing of Atlanta rapper Trouble, has been arrested by authorities.

Officials said that the man turned himself in after his mother encouraged him to surrender to authorities, according to the report. Jamichael Jones, 33, was wanted in the fatal shooting of the artist during a home invasion around 3:20 a.m. Sunday at the Lake St. James Apartments in Conyers, approximately 25 miles east of Atlanta.

The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said that the accused was arrested at 1 a.m. Tuesday in Clayton County “without incident” and taken into custody. He has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, home invasion and battery.

As previously reported, Jones was involved in a “domestic situation” with the woman Trouble was visiting. He breached the women’s residence and started shooting, hitting Trouble once in the chest which led to his death on the scene.
