Celebrating thirty years of sharing the Good News through musical ministry, family gospel group The Hyssongs have released their debut album for Horizon Records, We Have Got a Song to Sing, on October 30, 2026.

The eleven song collection was produced by Grammy nominated producer Jeff Collins and draws from a strong roster of CCM and Southern Gospel songwriters, all crafted around the singular sonic style of The Hyssongs. That style is easy to recognise, bright brass, lush strings, sweeping cinematic arrangements, soaring harmonies and compelling conviction, delivered by a Maine based family trio that has spent three decades singing together.

The songs on the album share a throughline of resilience and perseverance, of faith through hard times. Good News Savior, the group debut single for Horizon, has been climbing the Singing News Southern Gospel Chart, and the album closes with its jubilant title track, A Song to Sing.

Joining Horizon also places the family within the Crossroads family of artists. In the announcement of the signing and the album, the group shared its excitement to be with the Crossroads family and to work with producer Jeff Collins on this new chapter.

Thirty years into a family ministry, a label debut could have been a victory lap. Instead We Have Got a Song to Sing sounds like a group still reaching, pairing the polish of a major Southern Gospel production with the sincerity that carried three generations onto the road in the first place. The album is available now on CD and digital formats.

Kabelo Mabalane Ends an 11 Year Wait With Gospel Album For King and Country

South African music legend Kabelo Mabalane has released For King and Country, his tenth solo album and his first in 11 years. The 12 track gospel record arrived on October 30, 2026, and it finds the TKZee co-founder singing from the center of his faith, in a sound he calls Street Psalms.

The album is a communal effort. Across its 12 tracks, Mabalane is joined by Ishmael, The Arrows, Rhema Choir, F3 Dipapa, Lux City Music and the CFCI Choir, voices that move the record between intimate testimony and full choir lift. Songs such as Open Heaven, Glory and You Can’t Curse What Is Blessed set the tone: worship built for both the church and the street that raised him. Mabalane has described the project as the sound of a man who has lived long enough to know exactly what he believes, and the writing carries that certainty without losing its warmth.

The release itself carries meaning. The album was first set for October 14, the date that would have marked the 50th birthday of Tokollo Tshabalala, his late TKZee bandmate, known to the world as Magesh. The music now arrives with that memory woven into its story. Mabalane will present the album live with two shows at the Teatro, Montecasino on December 15 and 16, 2026, bringing the Street Psalms to the stage in what promises to be a celebration of a career that has moved from kwaito history into gospel testimony. For King and Country is streaming now.
