Thirstin Howl The 3rd drops “Keep Your Double L’s Up” video/single ft. Young Hump
Lo-Life forever! Lo legend Thirstin Howl The 3rd has dropped another anthem to honor the movement he co-founded with “Keep Your Double L’s Up.” Produced by Stu Bangas the track co-stars Young Hump (Digital Underground) with the duo trading outrageous, comical and fly bars back-to-back.
An official video has also been released with the single, which was shot at NBA Superstar Kevin Garnett’s Content Kings Studio in Los Angeles. Directed, shot and edited by Tha Conclusion, the video also boasts a full graffiti mural by L.A. graff vet, Shucks (who also appears in the video). Other cameos include Snaggapuss, Drew Lo, Jazoe Da Juggernaut and Big Twins.

The track also appears on the newly released Thirstin Howl The 3rd LP, The Last Shall Be Thirst.
The album features work by Rampage The Last Boy Scout (Flipmode Squad), DV Alias Khryst, Young Hump (Digital Underground), Tash (Tha Alkaholiks), Snaggapus, Dana Dane, MC Supernatural, Psycho Les, Varona, Beme Mystique, DJ Muggs, DJ Heron, Statik Selektah as well as Giovane Platone & OG Bigg Dabb.

Also coming this year is the long awaited short musical film Don Chicharron which also features Latin Hip-Hop legends Hurricane G (RIP, who was the first female member of EPMD’s Hit Squad), TMP AKA The Microphone Prince (the first Latin emcee to sign to a major label),DJ Exes (also of Grupo HNE) as well as Lo-Life affiliate/emcee Luey The 4th.

Retro gaming meets professional mic rippers for a new single. Great Neck, NY’s AWOL Da Mindwriter continues his audio partnership with August Fanon (Mach Hommy, Vic Spencer) for “Chaos Control.” A reference to a Sega Dreamcast early 90’s classic, Sonic Adventure 2 the high velocity bars are amplified with guest appearance from underground legend, Planet Asia (and cuts by DJ Pinn).. Speaking on the link-up AWOL said “Chaos Control was a power-up in the Sonic universe used for battle. I view this track as a blood-sport with two emcees making other emcees not wanna reckon with us.”
