The entire song was recorded using a 2012 Macbook running Ableton 11 in frontman Travis Klein’s living room. It was then refined while touring the US and staying in several hotels and Airbnbs. With the interface recording for the guitar, bass, and vocals and the MIDI for the drums and keys, there’s a reflective, slow-burning vibe. Michael Briggs mixed and mastered it in Denton, Texas.
