XCVIII Delivers Reflective EP ‘Till Next Time’
XCVIII mark a thoughtful pause in their evolving narrative with Till Next Time, a reflective EP that balances art-pop sophistication with alternative-rock edge. The Detroit band blends cinematic textures with intimate songwriting, evoking the emotional resonance of Radiohead and the experimental curiosity of Mk.gee, while maintaining a style that feels uniquely theirs.
The EP arrives as the band navigates a period of change, including lineup adjustments and the launch of their independent label and restaurant, Crazy Charlie’s. Each song embodies the tension between loss and hope, vulnerability and ambition, capturing a moment of reflection before the full-scale ambition of their debut album unfolds.
Guided by their “Dreamsreality” philosophy, XCVIII use Till Next Time as both a pause and a promise. Co-produced by Kevin Joseph and Tristan Johnson, the release showcases a collaborative spirit and a keen sense of musical detail. The result is a concise, compelling snapshot of a band refining its voice and laying the groundwork for what comes next.

Alivia Clark Brings the Energy on “Dancing In Circles”

In April, singer-songwriter and actress Alivia Clark released the breathtaking single, “Breathless.” The budding songstress now closes out the summer and kicks off the fall with “Dancing In Circles.” The Dance-Pop anthem is marked by its pulsating, intoxicating rhythm and Alivia Clark’s polished, sultry vocals.
“Dancing In Circles” is a groove-led up-tempo record that is fun and uber-catchy. The euphoric song’s sensual vibe accentuates the track’s theme of blissful yet wary seduction and temptation. “‘Dancing In Circles’ explores the push and pull of attraction and is about being stuck in a cycle with someone that you know isn’t good for you, but the chemistry makes it impossible to let go.” Alivia Clark continues, “There’s something so addictive about that feeling, you know that you’re going around in circles, but part of you doesn’t want to stop.”
