Instrumental producer, Ari Martin released his single, “In The Moment” on February 2nd, 2024!

“In The Moment” is a laid back groove which is perfect for a road trip playlist. The rhythm is easy and smooth, yet pulsating. It has a low end synth arrangement that you can literally feel with the right sound system. The vibe of this song will please all who love good instrumental music for studying, working out, commuting, etc. Listening to Ari’s music is therapeutic in that it allows you to have a soundtrack to your thoughts in your times of self reflection time.

Ari Martin has a new album called, “Thoughts and Ideas”; which is out now! It Is a collection of smooth grooves and charming melodies.

Ari Martin was born, bred and currently based in Cincinnati, Ohio and he creates R&B, Soul, Pop and Dance instrumentals. His style of music is grown, sexy and made for adults who still like to party and have a good time. His production style is slick danceable grooves that cater to a mature class of listeners. He is eager to let listeners enjoy his instrumental recordings, but also is looking forward to producing records for other recording artists. He intends on being the go to producer for modern R&B/Pop music. It’s happy hour music!

Born Shawnnette Longley, she grew up immersed in the diverse sounds of Sade, Anita Baker, George Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Prince. From her early days performing in a high school girl group to becoming a sought-after solo artist, RIMIDI’s devotion to her craft has been unwavering.

A gifted writer, RIMIDI filled notebooks with lyrics and wordplay from a young age. Her artistic path became clear when her mother gifted her a karaoke machine, sparking a passion that would expand into music, film, and mentorship. RIMIDI’s accomplishments include collaborations with Aloe Blacc and Slim Thug, features on Disney projects, and recognition as an alumna of Betty Wright’s prestigious “The M.O.S.T.” songwriting camp. Her artistic ventures have evolved into groundbreaking projects like her short film companion to JUNO: THE LATE BLOOMER. Tracks like “Surreal” and “Ran Away” showcase her emotional depth and musical versatility, while the album promises to be her most personal work yet.

Beyond music, RIMIDI is a force for community transformation. As the founder and CEO of GEM CULTURE, a Miami-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, she mentors youth to embrace creativity and character development. A seasoned educator with over 15 years of experience, she holds supervision, management, and curriculum design degrees. Her devotion to wellness shines through her work as a yogi and meditation teacher under Monica Gonzalez of DubYoga.

In December 2023, RIMIDI curated and hosted the FIND YOUR RIMIDI Festival, a three-day music retreat celebrating creativity and connection. As she continues to innovate in 2025, she remains an advocate for self-discovery, wellness, and empowerment, blending her music with a commitment to building safe spaces for others.
