Bill Blumenreich Presents will bring Grammy winning trumpeter Chris Botti to The Wilbur Theatre in Boston for two nights, Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28. Both shows are at 8 pm, with doors at 7 pm, and tickets are on sale now.

Botti has been one of the most popular instrumentalists in the world for nearly three decades. He has collaborated with Sting, Paul Simon, Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Bette Midler, Joni Mitchell, Steven Tyler, Andrea Bocelli, Herbie Hancock and Yo-Yo Ma, topped the jazz charts with numerous albums, earned multiple Gold and Platinum records, and performed with symphony orchestras on prestigious stages from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl to the Sydney Opera House.

The Chris Botti Band at The Wilbur will include Andy Ezrin on piano, Barry Stephenson on bass, Mark Whitfield on guitar, Lee Pearson on drums, Anastasiia Mazurok on violin, and Chrissi Poland and John Splithoff on vocals.

Tickets are $70, $81 and $94, depending on seating location. Two VIP options are also available. The Chris Botti Meet & Greet Experience, at $350.60, includes one premium reserved ticket, a meet and greet and individual photo opportunity with Botti, an autographed 8 x 10 photo, a commemorative VIP laminate and a souvenir ticket. The Chris Botti Ultimate Experience, at $603.00, adds a private pre show green room hang with Botti and a side stage viewing opportunity.

Botti’s most recent album, Vol. 1, released October 20, 2023 on Blue Note Records and produced by David Foster, was his first album in over a decade and marked his return to acoustic jazz and classic standards, with guest appearances from violinist Joshua Bell on “My Funny Valentine” and singer John Splithoff on “Paris.”

“I turned 60 in 2022, at a time that seemed like a restart for so many things in the world,” Botti says. “I wanted to strip away all the orchestral arrangements and special guests and focus more on my playing, the playing of my band, and these jazz classics that we always love playing on stage.”
