Zach Top Wraps Cold Beer & Country Music Tour With Sold-Out Show at Bridgestone Arena
Zach Top wrapped his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour Friday night (Oct. 30) with a sold-out show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, closing a run that has sold 921,820 tickets since it launched. The more-than-two-hour performance featured songs from across Top’s two albums, along with special guests Brandon Coleman of The Red Clay Strays and Lukas Nelson.
Opening with “Sounds Like the Radio,” Top performed his current and RIAA Gold-Certified single “South of Sanity” alongside the 4× Platinum “I Never Lie” and Platinum-certified favorite “Bad Luck.” The Nashville crowd kept the energy high throughout the night, calling for more as Top brought the tour to a close.
“I started coming to this town in 2018. Kept my head down, it was close to five years or something, just writing songs and wishing to God I could go out and play some shows and that some people would show up and wanna hear me sing the songs that I’ve been writing. Roughly two and a half, three years ago, that started happening. It’s been a wild ride ever since then,” Top told the crowd. “And I can’t thank each and every one of you enough for being here tonight and making a youthful hillbilly from Sunnyside, Washington’s dreams come true. Thank you so much.”
The Tennessean praised that “Top didn’t need the lights flashing through stage smoke to hold the room. His rich, commanding voice did that, moving effortlessly from a warm baritone to a soaring falsetto without losing an ounce of country grit. And when he dug into his guitar, it was clear his hands could keep up.”
The evening also featured performances of “That’s All” and “Use Me” with reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year band leader Brandon Coleman of The Red Clay Strays.
The tour’s conclusion caps a landmark stretch for Top, whose Ain’t In It For My Health won Best Traditional Country Album at the 68th GRAMMY Awards, becoming the inaugural winner in the category. As the reigning New Artist of the Year winner, he heads into the upcoming 60th Annual CMA Awards with nominations for Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Top will headline the 2027 Stagecoach Music Festival.
Fans can see Top live once more on YouTube tonight, Sunday, November 1, as he performs ahead of the premiere of his concert film, Zach Top — Live From Red Rocks: The Concert Film, presented by Kimes Ranch, live beginning at 6 p.m. CST / 7 p.m. EST.
Zach Top’s Cold Beer & Country Music Tour setlist, Friday, October 30, 2026: “Sounds Like the Radio,” “The Kinda Woman I Like,” “Lonely for Long,” “South of Sanity,” “Guitar,” “Beer for Breakfast,” “Seminole Wind” (John Anderson cover), “Other Side of Hurtin’,” “Bad Luck,” “When You See Me,” “Good Times & Tan Lines,” “Big Mon” (Bill Monroe cover), “In a World Gone Wrong,” “Cowboys Like Me Do,” “Freeborn Man” (Keith Allison cover), “Use Me” (with Brandon Coleman of The Red Clay Strays), “That’s All” (Genesis cover, with Brandon Coleman), “She Makes,” “Last Thing I Needed First Thing This Morning” (Willie Nelson cover, with Lukas Nelson), “Busy Doin’ Nothin’,” “Good Girls & Cowgirls,” “Tightrope,” “Justa Jonesin’,” “9 to 5” (Dolly Parton cover), “There’s the Sun,” “I Never Lie” and “Cold Beer & Country Music.” Encore: “I Know a Place,” “Two Dozen Roses” and “Things To Do.”
Dubbed “the future of country music” by Billboard, Zach Top is in the midst of a landmark year with two nominations at the upcoming 60th Annual CMA Awards: Album of the Year (Ain’t In It For My Health) and Male Vocalist of the Year. The nominations follow wins for Best Traditional Country Album at the 68th GRAMMY Awards (Ain’t In It For My Health, the inaugural winner in the category), New Artist of the Year at the 59th CMA Awards and New Male Artist of the Year at the 60th ACM Awards. Fanny Lumsden Reflects on Family and Roots in New Album Traditions
Australian country artist Fanny Lumsden has released Traditions, her fifth studio album, out now as of October 30, 2026. The 11 track record turns its attention to family and roots, and to the question of which traditions a person keeps, which ones they reshape and which ones they finally let go.
Lumsden launched the album the way she has built her whole career, in person and close to home. Her release week celebration in Tooma, the small New South Wales community at the heart of her story, brought her band and her people together for a live launch she described as insane, the kind of night that only happens when a town shows up for one of its own. That setting suits the record. Traditions is an album about where a person comes from and what they carry forward, written by an artist who has always treated rural Australia as more than a backdrop.
The new record follows Hey Dawn, the album that won Best Country Album at the 2023 ARIA Awards, an honor announced by Dolly Parton. That win confirmed Lumsden as one of the defining voices in Australian country music, a storyteller whose work pairs small town detail with big, singable choruses. Traditions now takes the next step, gathering 11 songs that weigh inheritance against independence. For longtime listeners, it is a homecoming. For new ones, it is an open door into one of the most distinctive catalogues in modern Australian country, the work of an artist taking stock of her life with gratitude and clear eyes.
