DJ Heron drops new webisode “House Of Heron” Ft. Money Mogly
The House Of Heron opens its doors again for a new episode! Presented by Gridlock Production House the web series pairs the Peruvian Boom-Bap king DJ Heron with top Miami, Florida spitters. In each episode the guest does a blindfold record pull from Heron’s collection to cook up a beat for them to spit to on the spot. This new episode features the gritty n abstract Money Mogly whose pull of a 1976 Melba Moore LP is the blueprint for the resulting crime-flick sounding “Death Wish 4” single.
This is not the only collaboration between DJ Heron and Money Mogly to manifest this year. Heron’s Spanglish boom-bap trio Grupo HNE (also composed of emcee DJ Exes and multi-instrumentalist Nando) featured him on the recent single “Big Pictures.”
