EA Sports FC 27 is available worldwide now, launching September 25 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with Real Madrid teammates Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham sharing cover duties. Mbappé fronts the Standard and Ultimate Editions, while Bellingham joins him on the Ultimate Plus Edition, returning to an FC cover for a third time. Owners of the Ultimate editions stepped onto the pitch a week early, with early access opening on September 18.

The headline addition this year is The Grounds, a new social football playground that expands the Clubs experience beyond the pitch. Players can explore three districts inspired by football heritage, develop their footballer on and off the field, and take guidance from mentors including Mbappé, Chloe Kelly, Paulo Dybala and returning series character Alex Hunter. EA notes that The Grounds, including Clubs, is available only on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.

Manager Career receives what EA calls a fully rebuilt Transfer Market. Powered by TransferRoom data, player values now respond to club buying power, potential, ratings and form, and negotiations play out through dynamic bidding wars as rival clubs recruit more strategically. Football Ultimate Team adds the FUT Gallery, where players curate and grade complete sets of player items across clubs, leagues, nations and campaigns to raise their Gallery Level and earn rewards across the season.

On the pitch, EA says community feedback drove improvements to control and fluidity, including dynamic corners, stronger attacking awareness and rebalanced AI defending. The authenticity numbers remain the biggest in the genre: more than 21,000 players across over 800 clubs and national teams, 140 stadiums and more than 35 leagues, backed by over 300 global football partners and competitions including the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Bundesliga and LALIGA EA Sports. The official soundtrack continues the series’ music discovery tradition with 120 tracks by artists from 36 countries.
