Bread Beauty Supply Enters Its Sporty Era With New Slick-Hold Gel
Bread Beauty Supply is in its sporty era. The brand, known for its cult-favorite textured hair products, has unveiled its Slick-Hold Gel, described as a high performance gel that creates a long-lasting, firm hold. The product is specially formulated for all hair types, with an emphasis on keeping coily and curly hair in place.
The gel was created for maximum control, shaping hair without leaving behind a crunchy feeling. Its waxy yet flexible formula allows for a sculpted hold that feels soft and lasts, and it promises to lock in even the most stubborn hair, regardless of texture. For shoppers whose routines depend on a slicked-back style staying put, the pitch is control that does not come at the expense of how the hair feels once it is styled.
In honor of the launch, Bread dropped a campaign inspired by the gel’s athletic yet editorial vibe. Drawing on the product’s staying power coupled with dynamic movement, the shoot features sport-approved hairstyles built to survive even the most intense workouts, highlighting the gel’s commitment to both performance and polish. The styling focus throughout is on slicked-back and sculpted looks that hold up in motion.
The launch positions the Slick-Hold Gel as the brand’s answer for textured hair that needs to perform under pressure, whether that means a workout or a long day in a sculpted style. By pairing a firm, long-lasting hold with a flexible, non-crunchy finish, Bread is speaking directly to the coily and curly hair community it has built its name on, while keeping the formula open to every hair type.
The Slick-Hold Gel retails for $16 USD and is available for purchase on the brand’s website starting May 15.

Sol de Janeiro Answers Its Fans With Intense Perfume Mists — And a New Cheirosa 74
Sol de Janeiro built its name on fragrance mists, and now it is turning the volume up. The brand has introduced Intense Perfume Mists, a new format created in direct response to its community’s number one request: richer, longer-lasting versions of the scents they already love, delivering up to 10 hours of wear.
The line reimagines three cult favorites in more concentrated form. Cheirosa 62 Intense wraps roasted pistachio and vanilla absolute in the brand’s signature solar ambery accord, while Cheirosa 59 and Cheirosa 91 also return in the deeper format. Joining them is an entirely new scent, Cheirosa 74 Intense, a golden gourmand built on ripe pineapple, bright orange flower and that same solar ambery base.
Chief executive Jordan Saxemard framed the launch as the next chapter of prestige body fragrance, saying the community’s relationship with scent had deepened and the appetite for a longer-lasting format was clear. The brand positions Intense as more than a line extension — it is an answer to how a new generation wants to wear fragrance: expressive, sensorial and able to keep up with every part of the day, while keeping the joy and ease that made the original Cheirosa mists iconic.
The Intense Perfume Mists rolled out nationwide online and in store with retail partners Boots, Lookfantastic, Sephora and Space NK on October 12, following the format’s earlier debut with the brand’s U.S. community. For fans who have been layering the originals to make them last, the message is simple: your favorite scents, turned all the way up.
