‘Giggly Squad’ Signs Four-Year SiriusXM Deal in One of Podcasting’s Biggest Bidding Wars

The Gigglers have a new home. On September 17, SiriusXM announced a new four-year agreement with “Giggly Squad,” the hit comedy podcast hosted by best friends and former “Summer House” stars Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo, bringing the show to the SiriusXM Podcast Network with exclusive distribution and exclusive global ad sales rights across its audio and video editions.

The deal — which trade reports say followed a bidding war with Amazon and the show’s former home, Acast, and is valued in the nine figures — also expands the Giggly Squad universe, with a slate of new exclusive programming set to roll out in 2027. Episodes will continue to land Tuesdays and Fridays on the SiriusXM app, YouTube and other major podcast platforms.

It is a remarkable arc for a show that began as Instagram Live hangouts in 2020. “Giggly Squad” has since grown into a top 10 comedy podcast built on candid talk about dating, pop culture, fashion, friendship and everyday chaos, spawning sold-out live tours across 70 cities — including two shows at Radio City Music Hall — a New York Times bestselling book, “How to Giggle,” and Podcast of the Year honors at the 2026 iHeartPodcast Awards.

“We’re so excited for this next chapter with SiriusXM,” Berner and DeSorbo said in a joint statement. “Giggly Squad has grown beyond anything we could have imagined, and getting to experience that growth with the Gigglers has made it even more special. We can’t wait for what’s next and to keep giggling together.”

Billy Porter Opens a Faith-and-Identity Conversation Series as First Guest of ‘This Is Our Story’

A new monthly conversation series is making room for the stories people are rarely asked to tell in full. “This Is Our Story,” hosted by Seth Pinnock — founder of the UK charity Symphony Co. — launched October 20 from Symphony Co. and In Details Studios, exploring culture, faith, sexuality, identity and the life-shaping stories in between.

The inaugural guest sets the tone: Billy Porter, the Emmy, Grammy and three-time Tony Award winner, sits down with Pinnock for an open conversation about growing up in the Pentecostal church, enduring bullying, and the long road through faith, healing and forgiveness.

Porter’s reflections anchor the episode. “Forgiveness is for me,” he says in the conversation. “It’s not forgive and forget. It’s forgive and move forward.” It is the kind of unguarded exchange the series is built to hold — personal history examined without spectacle, by a host whose own work through Symphony Co. centers community and young people’s stories.

As a monthly series, “This Is Our Story” is positioned as a slow conversation in a fast medium: one guest, one story, and the space to tell it properly. With Porter as its first voice, it opens with a story that moves from the church pews of Pittsburgh to the highest stages in entertainment — and finds healing, not bitterness, at the center of it.

That is precisely the ground Pinnock wants the series to hold. The conversations are structured around the moments that shape a life rather than the highlights that sell one, and Porter’s episode — part testimony, part masterclass in survival — gives the young series an unmistakable statement of intent from its very first installment.
