Halle Bailey Drops Deluxe Edition of ‘love?…or something like it’ With Five New Songs

Published

on

Halle Bailey is not ready to close the book on her debut era just yet. The singer has released a deluxe edition of love?…or something like it, expanding her first solo album with five new songs.

The deluxe edition, released October 23 via Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records, adds “leave me blue,” “don’t leave,” “potion,” “way out,” and the title track “love or something like it,” which features Lucky Daye. The additions grow the album from 15 tracks to 20.

The timing is deliberate. The release marks the one-year anniversary of Bailey’s debut solo album, which arrived October 24, 2025, and introduced her as a solo artist in her own right. The original album featured Chloë, GloRilla, Mariah the Scientist and H.E.R. — a guest list that announced the company she keeps as a recording artist.

Bailey teased the expansion to fans on social media ahead of release day. “I’m giving you 5 more songs on the deluxe, out Friday!” she wrote. “I’m promising another piece of my heart with the fresh material.”

For an artist whose first chapter as a solo act was built on vulnerable, love-centered songwriting, the deluxe edition reads as an extension of that promise — five more pieces of the same story, delivered on the anniversary of the day it began. The deluxe edition of love?…or something like it is available now.

Three standout independent artists return to the nationally syndicated radio show’s featured rotation, bringing “Rock Your World,” “I Cry Again” and “Guilty” to audiences across the United States.

The momentum continues for Fabe Da Don, Lili Caseley and Esosa Gabrielle, as all three artists have once again earned spots in the featured music rotation on The Indy Hook Up, the nationally syndicated radio program hosted by Heston Cleveland and Ricardo Love.
