Joe Mettle Stands on God’s Character on New Worship Single “Faithful”

Published

on

Joe Mettle has given worshippers a new anchor. The celebrated Ghanaian gospel minister released his single “Faithful” on June 26, 2026, on all major digital streaming platforms — a worship record centred on the enduring loyalty and unchanging nature of God.

True to its title, the song is a testimony before it is a performance. Mettle’s rich, textured vocal moves between tender reflection and soaring declaration, and the arrangement follows him there: layered keys, gentle percussion and swelling choral harmonies build the way a live worship moment builds, with space left for the listener to breathe, reflect and sing along. It is the kind of record that works as easily in personal devotion as it does led from a platform on a Sunday morning.

The timing was deliberate. “Faithful” arrived as the spiritual anchor for Praise Reloaded 2026, Mettle’s flagship worship gathering, which brought thousands of worshippers to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 28, under the theme “The River,” drawn from John 7:38. The event, organised by Joe Mettle Ministries and powered by Reverb Studios, has grown from an indoor gathering into one of the biggest dates on Ghana’s gospel calendar, and the new single set its tone in advance. The release carries the Reverb Studios name, under exclusive license to Mad Solutions.

Mettle has spent more than a decade setting the standard for contemporary Ghanaian worship, and “Faithful” is a reminder of why: sincerity first, craft always, and a message that outlasts the moment. The single is streaming now on all digital platforms.

Johnmark Wiggan Delivers Sophomore Album “By Fire”

Jamaican gospel artiste Johnmark Wiggan has stepped into a new season with By Fire, his sophomore album, released on streaming platforms on March 20, 2026. The 12-track set was officially launched on Saturday, March 28, at the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium at Jamaica College in St Andrew, where the auditorium was packed to capacity.

True to its title, the launch was built around a camp fire set, with background singers wrapped as campers for a portion of the show and several outfit changes from Wiggan adding to the production. The album features collaborations from Jucal Dyer and The Genesis Praise Squad, Audia Spencer-Brown, Rondell Positive and The Gilead Collective, Prince Saj and Go Worship, DaJourney, and Alicia Taylor.

The night also belonged to the fans. Supporters who had entered Wiggan’s Still Deh Yah open-verse challenge on social media got the chance to freestyle on stage as he performed the popular song, and a medley segment saw Downswell and the other male guest performers render favourites including God Have Mi Back, Champion and Already Done, before the artistes knelt to pray for Wiggan and bless the album.

The launch had been building for months. Announced in February, the Jamaica College event drew a guest bill that also included Rian Davis and Kevin Downswell, with general admission patrons getting a 4D experience, and the Jamaica Observer’s entertainment pages later declared that Wiggan “delivers By Fire.” Tracks such as “Nothing Too Hard,” his collaboration with Rondell Positive and The Gilead Collective, had already introduced the album’s sound ahead of release.

Blending rich Caribbean rhythms with personal storytelling, By Fire builds on Wiggan’s signature sound while pushing into more vulnerable, reflective territory. By Fire is streaming everywhere now.
