Team Eternity Ghana Opens a New Era With “The Promise” Album, Phase 1

Team Eternity Ghana has opened its next chapter. The Accra-based gospel collective released the first phase of its new album, “The Promise,” in October 2026, delivering a contemporary worship project aimed squarely at a young generation searching for solid ground.

The album is anchored on Genesis 28:15, where God assures Jacob that He will be with him, will not leave him, and will fulfil what He has spoken. The group has described the project as more than a musical release — a divine assignment and a message of assurance for listeners wrestling with uncertainty, disappointment and the search for hope. That conviction is organised around three themes that run through the record: His Presence, His Attention and His Protection.

The Phase 1 tracklist shows the breadth of the sound. It includes the title song “The Promise,” the praise of “Awesome God,” the intimacy of “My Sanctuary” and “Living Streams,” the intercession of “Agya’s Prayer,” and “Faithful,” alongside “Your Love,” “Mensuro,” “Attributes” and an “Esther Smith Tribute” honouring one of Ghana’s gospel pioneers. Songs of hope, restoration, faith and blessed assurance carry the whole set.

Team Eternity Ghana built its following on youthful, Spirit-filled worship — “Defe Defe,” from the group’s “Testimony” album, became one of the defining Ghanaian gospel songs of its season — and “The Promise” is deliberately built to bridge generations. The collective has named Millennials, Gen Z and the emerging Gen Alpha as the listeners it wants to reach, pairing a modern gospel sound with an old promise.

“The Promise,” Phase 1, is available now on all digital platforms, with the group confirming the album is out and playlisted across streaming services.

Xolly Mncwango Brings the Durban ICC to Listeners on Live Double Single “Ithemba Lethu” and “Ngegama Lakho”

Xolly Mncwango did not go to the studio to chase a moment — she captured one where it happened. The South African gospel minister released a live double single on May 15, 2026, pairing “Ithemba Lethu (Live at Durban ICC/2025)” with “Ngegama Lakho (Live at Durban ICC/2025),” both recorded at the Durban ICC and released through Universal Music (Pty) Ltd.

“Ithemba Lethu” — translated “Our Hope” — is the emotional center of the release. The song speaks directly to believers in uncertain seasons, carrying a message of hope, trust and perseverance in God. Mncwango’s performance is marked by sincerity and emotional strength, moving between vulnerability and confidence as the live instrumentation and layered harmonies build around her. Nothing about it feels manufactured; it sounds like a room full of people who needed the song as much as they came to sing it.

“Ngegama Lakho” completes the pairing, and together the two tracks make the double single feel like a complete worship encounter rather than two separate releases. Supported by a full live band and a responsive audience, the recordings preserve the atmosphere of authentic African gospel worship — the swell of the crowd, the weight of the room, and a lead voice that knows exactly when to press in and when to let the moment breathe.

The release marks another important milestone in Mncwango’s career as she continues to expand her reach within the gospel music industry. At a time when many listeners are searching for encouragement, healing and renewed faith, she has answered with a project that points them back to hope — recorded live, delivered honestly, and meant to be experienced, not just heard.

Both “Ithemba Lethu” and “Ngegama Lakho” are available now on all major digital streaming platforms.
