Mark Winters & Roxé Lean Into Life’s Best Moments with Acoustic Duet of Leaning

Published

A Stripped-Down, Soulful Rendition Produced by Michael Shanks, Part of the Upcoming Acoustic Me Album

Singer-songwriter Mark Winters released a heartfelt acoustic version of his song Leaning, featuring duet partner Roxé and produced by Michael Shanks. This intimate rendition captures the magic of their live performance sound, offering a raw and genuine take on a song that celebrates the simple yet profound human instinct to embrace life’s best moments.

Whether it’s the warmth of a grandmother’s hug, the electricity of a perfect kiss, or the comfort of leaning into love, Leaning reminds us that we are biologically wired to seek connection and joy. Science backs it up—when we fully embrace positive experiences, our brains release oxytocin, the “love hormone,” reinforcing feelings of trust, happiness, and belonging.

“The inspiration for Leaning came from those moments that just feel right—when you let go and allow yourself to embrace happiness,” says Winters. “This acoustic version captures the raw emotion Roxé and I bring to our live performances, and I can’t wait for listeners to experience it.”
This release is the second single from Acoustic Me, an eight-song album that showcases Winters’ stripped-down, organic sound. The first single, Signal (Acoustic Me) featuring Roxé, debuted on February 7, 2025, setting the stage for the full album’s release.
