Portugal. The Man to Play Two Albums in Full on January 2027 Tour
Portugal. The Man are giving fans two complete albums in a single night. The Alaska-formed, Portland-based band announced a January 2027 tour on October 27 that celebrates 15 years of In the Mountain in the Cloud, with the group performing that record from start to finish at every stop. The band will also play its latest album, SHISH, in its entirety, pairing a milestone record with its newest work on the same bill.
The January run opens January 7, 2027, at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and moves through Royale in Boston, Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn and the Roxian Theatre in Pittsburgh. From there it heads to Metro in Chicago and First Avenue in Minneapolis before turning west for Denver, Aspen and Tucson. The tour closes on the West Coast with The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, The Sound at Del Mar and The Castro Theatre in San Francisco on January 23.
A presale for the January dates runs from Wednesday, October 28, at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, October 29, at 10 p.m. local time, using the code CLOUD, with a general on-sale following the next morning at 10 a.m. local time. In other words, the presale window is open right now, and a two-album show in rooms of this size is exactly the kind of ticket that does not sit around.
Before January arrives, the band has a hometown engagement of a very different kind. On November 11 and 12, Portugal. The Man will perform two collaborative nights with the Oregon Symphony at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, bringing music from across their catalog, including songs from SHISH, into an orchestral setting in the city they call home. It is a fitting bridge between the band’s psychedelic rock roots and the full-album performances planned for the new year.
All of it sits on top of an already busy touring season. The band’s Denali Tour, named for a song on SHISH, carries on through Europe in late November and December, with stops including Prague and Copenhagen before dates in Paris, London, Manchester and Glasgow. Between a symphony collaboration at home, a European run and a January tour built on two complete albums, Portugal. The Man are closing 2026 at full stride — and starting 2027 by playing their past and present back to back.

Twenty One Pilots Play the Biggest Show of Their Lives at a Sold-Out Ohio Stadium
Twenty One Pilots came home and made history. On October 17, 2026, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun headlined Ohio Stadium in Columbus — the biggest U.S. headline performance of their career — packing out the Horseshoe with a sold-out crowd in the city where it all started, with Death Cab for Cutie opening the night.
The duo marked the occasion with the longest show they have ever played: a career-spanning 38-song setlist spread across three stages, complete with a drone display. They opened with “Goner,” the closing track from 2015’s Blurryface, used as a show opener for the first time, and delivered the live debut of Clancy fan favorite “At the Risk of Feeling Dumb.” Deep cuts got their due too — “Isle of Flightless Birds” received its first full performance since 2014 — and longtime collaborator Mark C. Eshleman joined them for “Robot Voices.” Joseph and Dun even revived their old skeleton hoodies, a nod longtime Skeleton Clique members caught instantly.
The hometown tributes kept coming. The Ohio State Marching Band’s drumline joined the band on stage for a cover of The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army,” and the pair entered the stadium riding big-wheel tricycles — the same style used in their “Stressed Out” video, filmed years ago in a Columbus neighborhood. Dun at one point crowd-surfed with his drum kit across the floor. Reviewing the night, the Columbus Dispatch wrote that Ohio Stadium has hosted bigger stars, but none put on a show like this one.
The stadium date effectively closes the book on the band’s Breach touring cycle, which took the Fueled By Ramen/Atlantic duo around the world behind the Clancy and Breach albums. It was also a return to the same building where they performed during the NHL Stadium Series in 2025 — this time with the whole night belonging to them.
Next month, Joseph and Dun return to Mexico for further dates before their touring calendar clears. Whatever comes next, the standard is now set: two musicians from Columbus sold out the biggest room in their hometown and played until there was nothing left in the catalogue.
