Stefan West asks to “Slow Down World” in new single
Hailing from the coastal city of Geelong, Australia, Stefan West is a singer-songwriter known for this infectious indie rock sound.

Produced and mixed by Chris Gatz at GM Sound Studios and mastered by Joe Carra at Crystal Mastering, the track is a sensory-stimulating adventure through the realms of indie rock, punk rock, and folk.
Lyrically, “Slow Down World” is an exploration of the human experience when the pursuit of self-improvement collides with the overwhelming chaos of life. The creation of “Slow Down World” was a collaborative effort. Indeed, Stefan West teamed up with Aaron Schembri to produce the unique guitar and bass rhythms, as well as the vocal harmonies. Additionally, the song features a horn section, including Stefan West’s own father, adding a personal touch to the musical narrative.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Angels & Airwaves, blink 182, Powderfinger, and Joe Pug, Stefan West’s music is a fusion of genres. His upcoming album, ‘Cambridge’, is set to delve even deeper into his journey of resilience and redemption, offering an intimate look at his battle with addiction and his quest for self-discovery.
