Steve Hale Unveils Soulful New Single, Over & Over

Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Hale released his highly anticipated new single, Over & Over. The song tells the story of a heartbroken man who embarks on a tropical escape, hoping that sun-drenched shores and a few colorful cocktails will mend his shattered heart. As he indulges in his sorrows, his gaze falls upon a captivating woman, and his imagination takes flight—has he truly found a new chance at love, or is it just a daydream induced by the island breeze?
Hailing from Oregon, Hale has built a reputation for his soulful songwriting and evocative vocal style. Drawing inspiration from legends like Kenny Loggins, Daryl Hall, Sam Cooke, and Bill Withers, his music seamlessly blends melody and groove, forming a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. With Over & Over, Hale showcases his signature ability to craft emotionally resonant songs that connect deeply with audiences.
Performing alongside an A-list ensemble of Portland’s finest Funk and R&B musicians, Steve Hale leads Steve Hale and the Super Soul Heroes—a powerhouse band comprised of top-tier players whose résumés boast performances with The Tonight Show, the Oregon Music Hall of Fame, and Berklee College of Music. Their collective credits span collaborations with icons such as Diana Ross, Placido Domingo, Curtis Salgado, Blind Boys of Alabama, and The Jaco Pastorius Big Band.
“I love to take familiar songs and dress them up in different sonic clothing while interweaving my original material into the mix,” says Hale. This philosophy is evident in Over & Over, where his signature blend of soul, R&B, and pop creates an immersive listening experience.
Throughout his career, Hale has demonstrated his versatility, from fronting power pop, glam funk, and rock bands to winning an international songwriting contest and co-authoring songs with acclaimed Canadian rock singer Gino Vannelli. He has also composed music for modern dance and collaborated with PlayWrite, an organization dedicated to helping youth find their voice through music.
With Over & Over, Steve Hale continues to solidify his place as a force in the music world, delivering a song that is both heart-wrenching and hopeful—a sonic journey through heartbreak, imagination, and the possibility of new love.

Kingdumb Drops New Track “For The Love”

Kingdumb enters a new phase of his creative life with “For The Love” by combining the pulsating vitality of British Garage with his cultural roots. Out now and gracing clubs up and down the UK, this track—the title cut from his EP—hits the ideal mix between emotional resonance and club-ready pace.
This isn’t your usual garage track. Rich textures and subdued hints to his Asian background abound, and they help the creation transcend trends into something distinctly his. The way Kingdumb arranges each drop, synth swell, and vocal chop is deliberate, stacked with both passion and accuracy.
There’s a warmth to “For The Love”—a kind of glowing optimism beneath the skippy drums and crisp bassline. It’s clear that this track is a statement. Having already captured the ears of tastemakers like BBC Asian Network and Spotify’s editorial curators, Kingdumb proves here that he’s not only a music innovator but also a storyteller with heart.
Produced under the wing of Grammy-winning producer James Sanger, the track balances polish with personality. Also, you can feel the growth—Kingdumb isn’t just experimenting here, he’s mastering his sound.
