Andy Meehan Set to Release New Single “Here I Am” — A Meditative Prelude to Upcoming Album Shore

– Out on June 20

Visionary singer-songwriter Andy Meehan announces the release of his latest single, “Here I Am,” available on all streaming platforms on June 20. The track serves as the opening chapter of his forthcoming album Shore, arriving September 5, 2025 — the highly anticipated follow-up to 2023’s introspective and spiritually resonant album Vessel.

“Here I Am” is a five-minute sonic sanctuary — a peaceful blend of acoustic guitar, ambient beach sounds, droning bass, and gentle choral textures. The track invites listeners into a space of stillness and preparation, symbolizing the moment of arrival at the shoreline before a transformational journey begins.

“This is a place I go to in my mind — to reset, to focus, to be led,” says Meehan. “The message is simple: be present, be willing, and be open to purpose.”

Meehan, a lifelong musician who penned his first melody at age 6 and learned guitar at 12, has spent decades shaping his sound and message. After stepping away from music for a time, he reemerged in 2014 with a spiritually driven album and reignited his creative path in 2023 with Vessel — a deeply personal record that positioned him as a channel for a greater message of light.

With Shore, Meehan continues the conceptual journey begun in Vessel. Whereas Vessel portrayed him as a messenger arriving by boat, Shore captures the moment he sets foot on land — a symbolic space of reflection and readiness. Here I Am represents the first breath in this new chapter, marking the beginning of a story that will unfold across future albums Path and Mountain, culminating in an exploration of purpose, vision, and enlightenment.

Meehan’s sound blends acoustic foundations with electric guitar, electronic textures, and cinematic ambiance. Lyrically, his work draws on introspective, universal themes rooted in light and truth — spiritual but not dogmatic, inviting all listeners to take part in the experience.

“This music isn’t just for one group. It’s for anyone open to growth, to healing, to light,” Meehan adds.

With a growing catalog of heartfelt singles and videos, Andy Meehan continues to offer thoughtful, immersive music that speaks to the soul.

Sohodolls delve into rich swarming trap vibes with new single ‘Last Night Was A Mistake’

The tantalising, ever evolving, dark electro-pop musical world of Sohodolls is now delving into rich, swarming trap vibes, with new single ‘Last Night Was A Mistake’, an evocative song about a brief encounter with a kind stranger.

Having recently featured in Netflix’s top 10 series ‘Geek Girl’ with their song ‘Bad’, the new single brings similar St. Trinian’s punk-girl attitude but buried deep within a haze of beats and pulsating electronics, which escalate into an infectious sweaty club banger for all the gamers and misfits who, like the band, also blend between genres.

Whilst on the surface an anthem for regretting the night before, ‘Last Night Was A Mistake’, goes much deeper to fantasize how things may have turned out, combining dreamy atmospheres with fast-paced, dystopian moods as the story twists and turns from hangover recollections to imaginary future romantic scenarios.

“It’s about that unexpected encounter with someone who has a dream-like quality and never being able to forget them. It’s about an instant connection that completely caught me off-guard”, explains Sohodolls’ Maya von Doll. “Lyrically I wanted to continue the story the way I wanted it to go before being pulled away from that magical moment.”

Produced by Marcus Andersson and mixed by Austin Leeds, ‘Last Night Was A Mistake’continues an exciting new era for Sohodolls as they limber up to launch their long-awaited new album this year. Known for their 00’s hit ‘Bang Bang Bang Bang’, which Madonna’s daughter recently sent viral via TikTok, Sohodolls prove once again with ‘Last Night Was A Mistake’ that they are up there with the best alt-pop artists around at the moment whilst retaining their London goth-scene roots.
