Celestine Donkor Lifts a 16-Track Offering on New Album “Highly Lifted”

Celestine Donkor has delivered one of the fullest gospel projects of the year. The Ghanaian worship leader released her new album, “Highly Lifted,” on August 6, 2026, under Dynamics Unlimited / ONErpm — a 16-track collection that moves between praise, deep worship and hymn tradition without losing its centre.

The album opens with its title track, “Highly Lifted,” and from there unfolds like a complete service. “I Carry Fire” brings the energy, “Anuonyam (Glory)” and “He Reigns” settle into exaltation, and “Nyame Sunsum” stretches out into extended worship at nearly nine minutes. Donkor has always sung across Ghana’s languages, and that gift runs through this project, with Twi and English worship carried by rich choir harmonies and her soaring lead vocal. “He Reigns,” produced by Joseph Victor Amoah, stands as one of the record’s early streaming highlights.

She does not carry the album alone. Minister Bella joins her on “Use Me,” and the project closes with “Boboobor Hymns,” featuring Tembalami — a finale that roots the record in the hymn heritage Donkor has championed throughout her career. Medleys including “Metumi Adenyinaa Medley” and the “Ewe Afro Medley,” each running past twelve minutes, give long-form worshippers plenty to sit with.

Known for hits like “Agbebolo,” Donkor has built her name on anthems that travel from Accra’s churches to the global diaspora, and “Highly Lifted” reaffirms that standing. It is a declaration of faith and a celebration of God’s glory from one of Ghana’s most celebrated gospel voices.

“Highly Lifted” is available now on Audiomack, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and all major streaming platforms.

Xolly Mncwango Brings the Durban ICC to Listeners on Live Double Single “Ithemba Lethu” and “Ngegama Lakho”

Xolly Mncwango did not go to the studio to chase a moment — she captured one where it happened. The South African gospel minister released a live double single on May 15, 2026, pairing “Ithemba Lethu (Live at Durban ICC/2025)” with “Ngegama Lakho (Live at Durban ICC/2025),” both recorded at the Durban ICC and released through Universal Music (Pty) Ltd.

“Ithemba Lethu” — translated “Our Hope” — is the emotional center of the release. The song speaks directly to believers in uncertain seasons, carrying a message of hope, trust and perseverance in God. Mncwango’s performance is marked by sincerity and emotional strength, moving between vulnerability and confidence as the live instrumentation and layered harmonies build around her. Nothing about it feels manufactured; it sounds like a room full of people who needed the song as much as they came to sing it.

“Ngegama Lakho” completes the pairing, and together the two tracks make the double single feel like a complete worship encounter rather than two separate releases. Supported by a full live band and a responsive audience, the recordings preserve the atmosphere of authentic African gospel worship — the swell of the crowd, the weight of the room, and a lead voice that knows exactly when to press in and when to let the moment breathe.

The release marks another important milestone in Mncwango’s career as she continues to expand her reach within the gospel music industry. At a time when many listeners are searching for encouragement, healing and renewed faith, she has answered with a project that points them back to hope — recorded live, delivered honestly, and meant to be experienced, not just heard.

Both “Ithemba Lethu” and “Ngegama Lakho” are available now on all major digital streaming platforms.
