Miami based producer/artist, Gino Black provides an alternative laid back remixed version of hip–hop artist, Blakk North ‘s latest single, “SLOW DOWN”. On his new track, Blakk North talks about street life, social media modeling and work place politics that can deliver unwanted inflections to the overall life experience of a person who lives it. “SLOW DOWN” is a smooth southern trap beat with life lessons lyrics that speaks to the inner soul of the listener. What Gino Black has done is strip the song down to minimal instrumentation. The drums have been removed and the dynamics of the stripped down version feeds and enhances Blakk North‘s lyricism and therefore makes the song’s message clearer. “The Gino Black Tasting” as the remix has been dubbed offers a more introspective listening experience for fans of Blakk North.

That dedication is paying off. Raxz has collaborated with respected artists such as Sally Sossa, Slatt Zy, and Trecinco, building a reputation for authenticity and determination. In 2022, he was recognized by XXL Magazine as an artist to watch, further validating his growing presence in the industry.

While success hasn’t come without setbacks, Raxz has remained committed to his vision. Whether battling self-doubt, maintaining consistency, or navigating the business side of music, he’s continued to push forward.

Now, he’s preparing for the release of City of Dragons, a project he describes as his most complete and hardest-hitting work to date. With production from Sauce Sinatra, Yung Steely, and members of 808 Mafia, expectations are high.
