Omen44 Is The “Plug” Ft. Tragedy Khadafi & Big Twins x DJ Scratch Nice

Published

on

National/international Hip Hop artist Omen44 delivers visuals for his latest single “Plug” featuring Queensbridge Projects legend Tragedy Khadafi along with Big Twins and DJ Scratch Nice. Over smooth Boom-Bap cadences and piano keys, Omen44 depicts the essence of the plug before the streets tainted it. He doesn’t disappoint with his signature bars and sharp metaphors, and although his deliverance is gentle, his lyrical sickness isn’t. Watch “Plug” and connect below.

Pivot Gang Return With New Single Location

Chicago collective Pivot Gang have released Location, their first group single since 2024. The song arrived on October 28, 2026, and it is the first single from the group’s sophomore album, due in early 2027. That album will be their first since You Can’t Sit With Us, the debut they released in 2019.

Location puts the crew’s core chemistry back on display, with Saba, MFnMelo, Joseph Chilliams and Frsh Waters trading verses over production co-created by daedaePIVOT and Ben Nartey. The video, directed by JLEAN, keeps the world small and familiar: a basement, a poker table, a pool table and a game of Uno, the group posted up together the way they started. In the years since the debut, the members have built substantial solo careers, Saba most visibly, which makes a full crew record an event rather than a routine release. Location works as both reunion and announcement, a reminder that the individual successes were always rooted in this circle.

The album campaign leads toward a hometown ritual. John Walt Day, the group’s annual Chicago celebration honoring their late member John Walt, returns on December 19, 2026 at Thalia Hall. Between that date and the early 2027 album, Pivot Gang are giving their city, and everyone who watched them rise from it, a full season to look forward to. Location is the sound of a crew that never really left, only scattered, sharpened their individual crafts and returned stronger. The single is streaming now on all platforms.
