Kuda Drops Debut EP “52 BLUE”

Budding music artist Kuda kicked off the summer with his seventh single, “GET MINE.” The rising star closes out the summer with his debut EP, 52 BLUE. Kuda’s sound is reminiscent of platinum recording artists Lil Skies, NAV, and Yeat. The five-track EP balances its poetic, somber tones with hard-hitting, catchy beats and lyrics.
The EP starts off with the song, “Lift Off.” Kuda takes off in “Lift Off.” His smooth flow blends well with the bouncy, wavy instrumental. Track two, “Get Hiya,” is a sleek, laidback track about getting geeked. It is the first song on the EP that features renowned music artist Stephen Jailon. Both artists spit relatable, cool bars. The next song, “It Ain’t No Gift,” is a personal favorite as it is motivational. The song stresses being oneself, grinding, and chasing dreams. Kuda delivers a pointed message to haters. Track four, “Roll Tha Dice,” is the penultimate song of the EP and the second song to feature Stephen Jailon. The record has a uniquely arranged beat that is cleverly controlled chaos. The two artists shine with their vibey flows and witty metaphors. “Nothin2Lose” is the closer and fittingly so. The track makes listeners feel inspired and head bob with glee.
Kuda does a great job in delivering the vibes and messages that he wanted to in 52 BLUE. “52 Blue is the nickname of a whale that famously communicated at a frequency that no other whale could understand.” Kuda continues: “As someone who has mental illnesses and has floated throughout every type of social group throughout my life, I feel truly alone at times. I cope by making a lot of money and partying my a** off. The songs on this EP represent the duality of my life, my lonely and pained inner world versus my exterior.”
52 BLUE is an immaculate body of work. From the mixing and mastering to the beats to the lyrical content, 52 BLUE is chock full of high-quality bangers. Press play on 52 BLUE today!

The track appears on the recent collaborative album from Kingdom Kome and The Equation Beats titled Arepa Y Manteca. Named for a traditional Colombian delicacy, according to Argentinian born Kingdom Kome “we decided to keep the project real paisa, which means countryman. This includes most of the album collaborators Colombian Raw, AjaxLo & CTraffik.”
Other album guests include Che Uno, Sunez Allah and ParaNoize and the result is ominous instrumentals and grimy beats clashing with disrespectful lyrics in two languages.
