Polo G Keeps His 2026 Run Rolling With Surprise Single “Still Standing”

on

Polo G did not bother with a countdown or a teaser campaign. On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Chicago rapper simply released “Still Standing,” a surprise single that arrived alongside a stripped-back performance video and no announcement of any larger project attached to it.

The visual matches the record’s directness. Rather than a narrative treatment, the clip plays like a freestyle session, keeping Polo centered in the frame and the focus on his delivery as he works through the themes that have defined his catalog from the beginning: survival, pressure, loyalty and the cost of coming through circumstances that were supposed to break him. The title doubles as the message, and the lean presentation lets it land without decoration.

“Still Standing” also extends what has quietly become one of the steadier runs of Polo’s career. He released the solo single “Clap” on May 29, followed by “Weight On My Shoulders” on June 12 and “OMG” on August 21, with a FattMack collaboration, “Lay It Down,” landing in between on June 5. It is a volume of new music that would usually arrive inside a traditional album rollout, but Polo has let the songs stand on their own, one at a time.

The pace follows a period of expansion for the Columbia Records artist, who first broke through with his 2019 debut “Die a Legend.” His 2024 album “HOOD POET” was followed in December 2025 by “Hood Poet Black Heart Edition,” an expanded 40-track edition that widened the original project considerably. Instead of immediately announcing another full-length record, he has spent 2026 rebuilding momentum song by song.

Whether “Still Standing” is a standalone moment or the first sign of something bigger remains an open question, as the single has not been formally tied to a forthcoming album, EP or mixtape. For now, it stands as another piece of evidence that Polo G is doing some of his most focused work in short form, and that the next chapter, whenever it is announced, is being built in plain sight.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Brings the “10 Years of Artist” Celebration to UBS Arena for Two Sold-Out Nights

Ten years after a mixtape called “Artist” introduced him, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is celebrating the anniversary in the biggest rooms of his career. His “10 Years of Artist” run plays two sold-out nights at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, tonight, October 29, and tomorrow, October 30, the centerpiece of a year-long victory lap for the Bronx rapper.

The show takes its name from his 2016 debut mixtape “Artist,” the project that carried “Still Think About You” and “My Shit” and set everything in motion. A Boogie signed with Atlantic Records later that same year and released his debut album, “The Bigger Artist,” in 2017. Its lead single “Drowning” eventually earned a diamond RIAA certification, and his 2018 follow-up “Hoodie SZN” reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 behind “Look Back at It” and “Swervin’.”

The catalog he is celebrating has been appreciating in the meantime. Late last year a wave of his classics earned new RIAA certifications, with “Look Back At It” climbing to seven-times platinum and “Jungle” and “Still Think About You” reaching five-times platinum, while his single “Part of Me,” built around Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together,” returned him to the Hot 100. Albums like “Artist 2.0” and “Me vs. Myself” kept his streak of top 10 debuts alive into this decade, and 2024’s “Better Off Alone” marked his fifth studio album.

The anniversary run has been building all year: it began with an instantly sold-out Boogie Bash at Radio City Music Hall, and he marked the new chapter with the “Before Artistry” EP earlier in 2026. Support across the fall dates includes DaBaby, G Herbo, Moneybagg Yo, Cash Cobain, Yung Miami and others on select nights.

After UBS Arena, the tour continues to Boston’s Agganis Arena on November 6 and 7, Philadelphia’s Liacouras Center on November 13 and 14, and Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on November 28, before wrapping the year in Orlando on December 5, Minneapolis on December 12 and Hartford on December 19. For an artist who named himself after a debut mixtape, the anniversary math checks out: a decade in, the Artist era is filling arenas.
