Shed Seven will bring their winter tour to Rock City Nottingham on Friday, November 13, 2026, for a night that captures why the band’s annual Shedcember run has become a fixture for their fans. The York band have built a following on big choruses and packed rooms, and a Rock City date gives that connection a fitting stage as the tour reaches its tenth edition.

The Nottingham show is part of “Shedcember X,” the tenth edition of Shed Seven’s long-running winter tour. The name has become shorthand for the band’s end-of-year dates, built around singalong favourites and a crowd that knows every word. Bringing the tenth edition to Rock City adds another landmark venue to a tour that has grown with the band.

Formed in York in 1990, Shed Seven are a British band whose songs have stayed in regular rotation for more than three decades. “Chasing Rainbows,” “Going for Gold,” “On Standby” and “Getting Better” remain staples of their live set, and their 2024 album, “A Matter of Time,” reached number one in the UK, underlining how strong their later work has been received alongside the classics.

That combination of long-standing favourites and newer material gives the Rock City show a broad appeal. It should suit both fans who have followed Shed Seven since the 1990s and those who discovered them through “A Matter of Time.” A Friday night in Nottingham, in a room known for its atmosphere, is a natural fit for a band whose live shows are built on shared singing and a full-throttle finish.
