The survivors-like formula is heading to the grimdark future, and it is bringing two Warhammer universes with it.

Warhammer Survivors has been announced by Auroch Digital, the studio behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. The game is described as the official grim and dark bullet-heaven game, and it is available to wishlist on Steam now ahead of its 2026 release.

Players take control of over 40 iconic champions drawn from both the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes, then wade into swarms of enemies in fast-paced survivors-style combat. The pitch is simple on the surface: pick a champion, survive escalating waves, and obliterate those who champion death and destruction with ever-growing firepower.

The announcement arrived through the Press Engine portal on November 7, billing the game as a fast-paced survivors-like coming in 2026. It is the latest Warhammer video game reveal in a busy stretch for the license, and it puts Auroch Digital’s affection for the setting, proven with the boomer shooter Boltgun, into an entirely different genre.

Bullet-heaven games live or die on build variety, and a roster of more than 40 champions across two universes gives Warhammer Survivors a deep bench of playstyles to draw from on day one.

Warhammer Survivors launches in 2026 on PC via Steam, and the store page is live for wishlists now.

Kuro Games has unveiled Wuthering Waves Version 3.8, “Lilies in a Dying Dream,” launching November 12 with a new Resonator, a new Main Quest chapter and a raft of gameplay optimizations.

The update introduces Lily, a new Resonator, along with her signature weapon, Lullaby, and the new Main Quest Chapter IV Act V, “A Bouquet for Tomorrow,” which sets the stage for Version 4.0.

Version 3.8 also adds new events, including Second Coming of Solaris, the seven-day login event Gifts of Bygone Dreams, Whither the Wind and the Tactical Hologram challenge, plus Hiyuki’s Deluxe Outfit “Lune Noire” and its matching accessory.

On the systems side, the update redesigns the Resonance Conversion page for Rover, adds a Material Locator button for finding where materials come from, and gives the PC launcher a choice between Full Resources and Basic Resources, while console players get new Performance and Quality modes.

Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play cross-platform action RPG from Kuro Games, the Guangzhou-based studio founded in 2014, set in a post-cataclysmic sci-fi world.
