The Menzingers Bring the Everything I Ever Saw Tour to The Salt Shed on November 14
Few bands write about growing up, growing older and holding on to your people like The Menzingers, and fewer still do it with choruses this big. The Philadelphia punk rock band headlines The Salt Shed on Saturday, November 14, and it is bringing two heavyweight friends along for the night.
The Menzingers play The Salt Shed Indoors on Saturday, November 14, with Hot Water Music and Weakened Friends completing the bill. The date is part of the Everything I Ever Saw North American Tour, the band’s headline run across the continent this fall.
The Menzingers built their name on Epitaph Records with a run of albums that turned small town memory into arena sized singalongs, from On the Impossible Past to After the Party and Hello Exile. Their songs pair punk rock drive with plainspoken storytelling, and their live shows lean hard on the crowd, who usually sing every word straight back.
The Salt Shed, at 1357 North Elston Avenue, gives the tour one of its biggest indoor rooms of the fall. Three bands deep and built for a Saturday night, this is one of the strongest punk bills Chicago gets all season.
