Astrality Reimagines Tommy Down’s Soulful Single ‘Mrs Blue’
Electronic producer Astrality has put his signature spin on Tommy Down’s tender soul ballad ‘Mrs Blue’ and the result is a remix that glows with both heart and heat. Where Tommy’s original leaned into aching vulnerability, Astrality reshapes it into a track that feels tailor-made for a midnight dance floor, while keeping every ounce of emotion intact.
‘Mrs Blue’ was already a gorgeous song; all hushed organ swells, velvety rhythm, and Tommy’s soulful vocals tugging at the heartstrings. Astrality doesn’t erase that intimacy; instead, he magnifies it, weaving in pulsing house rhythms, shimmering melodies, and just the right dose of electronic magic. The remix keeps Tommy’s voice front and center, but drops it into a world where melancholy meets movement. Think candlelit confessions that turn into sunrise dances.
On the remix, Astrality shared:
“As soon as I heard the record I was very interested in giving it my own spin. The challenge was preserving and even accentuating the intense emotional delivery of Tommy’s vocals.”
Both artists bring serious weight to the table:
- Astrality is known for his emotive blend of techno, house, and pop, boasting hundreds of millions of streams, a Gold Record, and sets on iconic stages like Tomorrowland Belgium. His sound is subtle yet sweeping, equally at home in headphones as it is in front of thousands.
- Tommy Down, a London multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer-songwriter, has carved out a name for himself with his soulful storytelling, millions of streams, and a reputation for writing music that’s both timeless and modern. His songs have even found their way into HBO’s acclaimed series Industry.
Together, they’ve transformed ‘Mrs Blue’ into something new: a track that aches, uplifts, and moves — literally. Whether you’re nursing a heartbreak or losing yourself on the dance floor, Astrality’s remix is built to meet you where you are.

Rising Superstar AMBER Turns Everyday Moments Into Vivid Stories On Just a Daydream
Songwriters often draw from personal experience, but what makes Just a Daydream stand out is the way AMBER reshapes those experiences through imagination. Instead of presenting events exactly as they happened, she builds scenes that feel colourful, expressive and full of possibility, giving the songs a distinctive identity from the very beginning.
That approach reflects the idea behind the EP’s title. What begins as a passing thought or a hopeful fantasy gradually develops into something more tangible, carrying listeners through romance, longing, disappointment and, ultimately, self-acceptance. The songs remain connected by that thread, making the EP feel like one continuous conversation rather than a collection of separate ideas.
Musically, AMBER blends soul, jazz, funk and pop touches without allowing any one influence to dominate. The lively pulse of “Say What” explores the confusion that can grow from crossed wires, while “Aromatherapy” offers a gentler close, bringing the emotional journey to a place of calm reflection.
Working with producer Kipper Eldridge, AMBER has created a debut that places storytelling at its heart. Every musical choice supports the atmosphere of the songs, allowing the lyrics and performances to take centre stage. Out now through Now Listen, Just a Daydream is more than a collection of well-made tracks. It is an invitation into a creative world where imagination gives everyday emotions a fresh perspective and where even the smallest moments have a story worth telling.
