BLACKWOOD’s first act just got bigger, with a content drop built around the side work that keeps a criminal empire running between story missions.

Publisher IZilla Games and developer AttritoM7 Productions released the Contracts Update for BLACKWOOD on November 6, bringing a substantial new content drop to Act 1 alongside gameplay improvements, new weapons, additional music and a range of fixes. The update adds several side missions players can tackle between story missions, giving Anton three new contracts to take on as he builds his criminal empire.

The new contracts introduce a varied set of challenges, including a wave-based shooter, a drifting trial, and a sniper mission. More side missions are expected to be released before Act 2. The update also adds the MP5, purchasable from the dark web alongside several new weapon modification parts, plus reworked melee combat with additional animations, an updated tutorial with helpful tips throughout the game, new music tracks, camera polish, refinements to movement and dives, and a range of bug fixes.

Alongside the update, BLACKWOOD is partnering with Razer to integrate the Razer Chroma RGB ecosystem with the game. Chroma RGB enabled devices from Razer and more than 50 third-party hardware brands will react to the in-game environment. The game is also available to launch through Razer Cortex, where players can earn Razer Silver by playing in the Razer Cortex Play to Earn program from November 6 to 13.

The Contracts Update is available now, released at 6pm UK / 7pm CET / 1pm EST / 10am PST on November 6.

Outcity Lets Its Villagers Run the Farm by Day and Defend It by Night, Launching December 10

The villagers do the heavy lifting in Outcity. Titan Games and indie.io have confirmed the cozy farming sandbox launches on Steam on December 10, 2026, with a free demo available now.

Outcity is a cozy farming sandbox where you build a farm from scratch on an overgrown stretch of countryside. You clear and shape the land, plant and harvest crops, set up irrigation and decorate your homestead, then hand tools to the villagers who move in — and the tool a villager carries decides the job they do.

Automation is the heart of the game: villagers take the tools you hand them and get to work on their own, gaining experience as they go. More than 140 upgrades span farming, fishing, construction, automation and combat, and villagers work best close to home, so where you build their homes matters as much as what you plant.

There is more to explore beyond the farm. Biomes hold their own resources, and unlocking new regions opens up new crops and materials. Procedurally generated caves hide rare finds, and the lakes hold rare fish to catch.

At night, skeletons raid the farm, and villagers you have equipped chase them off in light, playful combat — the same villagers who spent the day tending your crops.

Outcity launches on Steam on December 10, 2026. A free demo is available now, and the game can be wishlisted on Steam.
